Honestly whatever happened throughout the film I knew it based on the first 10 minutes

His physical maneuvering to act as if his body is being controlled by a robot installed chip while he only had control of his neck/head was astounding. Don’t even watch the trailer just watch the movie with no insight on what the movie is about. That movie is a hidden gem!!!

    there really needs to be people that are paid to cut a trailer together for the sole purpose to not give anything away yet still make people want to watch it. its clear has day that her husband is involved. if you had left out the fact her husband was acting fine after the shooting and didnt show him or her having trust problems with each other this would have been a much better trailer

    SPOILER ALERT: I had never seen the trailer or knew anything at all about the movie before I watched it, but the first time I saw Henry, he was wearing a polo shirt buttoned all the way to the top. I said: "Yeah, no, that guy is a serial killer FOR SURE!" In movies, if a guy buttons the top button of his polo shirt, he one hundred percent of the time turns out to be a psychopath.

    I didn’t watch the trailer before-hand… Just finished the movie, you can really piece this together once the intruders are identified…BUT, that doesn’t take away from this being an excellent flick, in my opinion…there’s no boring parts, the acting is great…very believable, but the direction is even better…there are some epic jump-scares (especially if u watch with headphones) and 2 moments in particular that are truly effective…during the dinner party when realization strikes…the pounding music and tilted camera angle is awesome, as is the slow-motion bit a little later. I’m going to highly recommend this to my friends who always ask, “what should I watch, what’s good? Lol

    @@cakerbaker9965 Glad you had a good experience and your opinion is very valid! But honestly one of the worst and most predictable films I’ve ever watched. I guessed the entire plot based on the first 10 minutes but still expected some sort of plot twist like the kidnapped girl being a psychopath and killing the man and framing the woman. It would have been a better and unexpected ending.

    Spoiler ahead. They were together for 12 years and seem so in love and yet the wife was quick to doubt his husband and was ready to report him to the police without even trying to talk to him first about the situation. Well, she did talk to him but only after assuming that the 'kidnapper' was already arrested.

    You’re absolutely right, it was too much forced and unrealistic, after 12 years of marriage and all they have been through, you would think she won’t suspect the husband of kidnapping a woman for a single picture found on a USB key that wasn’t even unusual.

    With a house that big and in such a remote location, you know sooner or later, burglars will target it. Can't believe the husband decided to get a burglar alarm after being having their home invaded by intruders. Nice to see Frieda Pinto back in a movie.

    Actually youre dead wrong lol thats why people choose secluded rural areas. Because burglars are a problem in the city, ppl dont mess around like this in the country, they know they'll get shot 😂 & burglars/thugs dont operate in backwater remote areas, they cant survive on their occupation in the country it just doesnt fit that lifestyle, thats a city lifestyle, its not a problem in rural communities AT ALL, it just makes for a good horror plot. Lmao

    She’s so freaking fine yo! I honestly saw her in my 1st movie ever was the movie with the Superman actor with the bow & arrow from the Greek gods days & with Mickey Rourke. Not a bad movie at all but omfg is Frieda Pinto drop dead gorgeous in real life & in that movie💯💯💯😍😍😍 Lol. She’s not a bad actress either.

    I watched the movie, 1.5 hours passed like an instant. I liked the cast, especially the main characters Henry and Meera. As for the idea of ​​the film, it seems illogical to me to build a house without an alarm system, a fence. Especially when such surprises happen in your house.
