I think the mishap is in the TV viewers only but as you can see here, the audience hear the audio of girls after Albania.

@@gavo1201 agree with Thailand 2005...one of the best also.. How I miss the old format when all girls introduction were shot in various location of host country like Thailand 2005 and the girls dancing... Not sure about Ecuador ..I prefer Panama instead

addiat meikokusuma Ecuador was very similar to Thailand. You should check it. Same kind of music, the girls in different locations and good performance. 2004 and 2005 were great years.. I didnt like Panana so much.. it was a little bit flat and boring..

Damn, the countries with lesser brand recognition sent their best girls: Georgia, Cayman Islands, Chile, Malaysia. UGH

I think this is one of the best opening. Clean and tres-chic! You can feel the positive energy from both audiences and delegates 💙

This is still the only Miss Universe edition to be held on Christmas week, due to a calendar problem. This edition would be in August, but it would clash with the London Olympics and in the period from September to November it would also clash with the american elections.And as there was still no provision in the regulation for the postponement of the contest to January of the following year, they held the contest on Christmas week.

What an intro🥰🥰. Hope the vibe for the upcoming Miss U 2019 is same like this. ❤❤

They should do this more!!!! It's so amazing we can meet the contestants and they get more screen time!

I wish we could have the Miss Universe contestants introduce themselves live.

*ONE OF THE BEST?* one of the best opening / intro in the history of miss universe clean, classy introduction, especially how it transitions from one batch to another their choreography is like a splash of a refreshing, cool water... so mesmerizing to watch 'coz it's not redundant all throughout the background music is a bomb... truly an "ear-candy"
