Amon Mwaijengo You don't need a license at all! Simply incorporate a JavaScript file into your website's files and you're good to go.

At 7:30 you say that the service worker, if given the `/app/` scope, can control `/app`, but then at 7:40 you say that it cannot control `/app`. Was a slash missing on the first one? (If that's the case, I feel like there should be a clearer distinction between `/app` and `/app/` at 7:25.)

It cannot control '/app' or '/' but they can control '/app/'.

it`s the perfect idea, because not need install app. Browser (www) -> Home Screen (manifest.json) -> Enjoy Nice idea to make workers API with push messages API in iOS and Android "when all apps and browser closed" (!sic) Its the most interesting for business!

Hi i am working on PWA that uses Service Workers. In that i am caching index.html for offline use. But after deployment some times service worker still serves old index.html. If i do hard refresh or by pass sw.js everything works fine but in normal reload all calls are failing. how to solve this issue? Please help me out. Note: I am using reactjs and create-react-app.

You would have subscribe to the sw to check if an update is available. If it is the you reload the window, or present a prompt for the user to initiate the reload. I recommend watch this YT video to the end: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oaicysiTYNCtmrg.html

Stanly Thomas No license(s) are needed at all. Put simply, it is just another JavaScript file that you add to your website.
