What Zero would you recommend for a compact? (Hellcat Pro) 7? 10? 15? 20?

The biggest concerns you should have when considering zero is both initial impact and far side impact, as well as the angular deviation of the round at common distances. Just like for rifle, there isn’t one “golden zero,” it’s shooter preference. That all being said, I’d do a 15yd zero as a baseline. You’ll have to factor exactly where your return on target will be, but according to data given by Sig, with 15yd using 147g your return on impact will be at 35yd; for 124g your return on impact is 50yd. Make sure you log the differences in impact at common distances though so you can collect your own data with the rounds/pistol you are using. Adjust to your preference after that.
