I've been wanting to take a philosophy course, but college isn't really in the picture right now so thank you very much for putting out free lectures so I can still learn on my own.

@@ALittleBitofPhilosophy WHAT IS E=MC2 IS dimensionally consistent, AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE); AS WHAT IS E=MC2 is taken directly from F=ma; AS the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution; AS the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Consistent WITH WHAT IS E=MC2, “mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/AS what is BALANCED electroMAGNETIC/gravitational force/ENERGY; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE) !!! SO, what are OBJECTS may fall at the SAME RATE !!! WHAT IS GRAVITY IS, ON BALANCE, an INTERACTION that cannot be shielded (or blocked). Consider the man who IS standing on what is THE EARTH/ground. Consider what is THE EYE ON BALANCE !!! Now, consider what is the TRANSLUCENT AND BLUE sky !!! (What is THE EARTH IS ALSO BLUE !!!) Again, consider WHAT IS E=MC2 !!! c squared CLEARLY (AND NECESSARILY) represents a dimension of SPACE ON BALANCE, AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). It ALL CLEARLY makes perfect sense ON BALANCE, AS BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. Great. By Frank Martin DiMeglio In understanding SPACE, what is gravity, TIME, AND time dilation (ON BALANCE), it is important is it to understand what is a BALANCED displacement of what is SPACE. ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity ON/IN BALANCE. Consider what is E=MC2. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE. (c squared CLEARLY represents a dimension of SPACE ON BALANCE.) Indeed, the stars are POINTS in the night sky ON BALANCE. The rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution. Consider what is THE EYE, AND notice what is the TRANSLUCENT AND BLUE sky ON BALANCE. NOW, consider what is the BALANCED MIDDLE DISTANCE in/of SPACE. CLEARLY, BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is fundamental (ON BALANCE). “Mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ON BALANCE, consider what is the orange (AND setting) Sun. “Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/as what is BALANCED electromagnetic/gravitational force/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE); AS gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE (ON BALANCE) consistent WITH E=MC2, F=ma, TIME, AND time dilation ON BALANCE. This CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY represents, DESCRIBES, AND INVOLVES what is possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY (AND NECESSARILY) proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Notice what is the fully illuminated (AND setting/WHITE) MOON ON BALANCE. Great. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. Indeed, inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is proportional to (or BALANCED with/AS) GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). This CLEARLY explains what is E=MC2 AND F=ma ON BALANCE, AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE !! (Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE.) Great. Indeed, consider WHAT IS THE EARTH/ground ON BALANCE. I have mathematically proven why the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY (AND NECESSARILY) proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE, AS the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky ON BALANCE; AS c squared CLEARLY represents a dimension of SPACE ON BALANCE. (Consider what is THE EYE ON BALANCE.) I have mathematically proven what is the fourth dimension, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE) !!! I have explained why what are OBJECTS may fall at the SAME RATE. By Frank Martin DiMeglio

I gotta say, as an undergrad of Philosophy, this is one of the few introductions/overviews on the internet that didn't disapoint me, i.e. that didn't seem to give non-academics a misleading image. Ususally there are a lot of misconceptions but I found this video to be in accordance with what I was taught in the first minutes of the first lecture. By the way, I said "non-academics" not in order to de-value people who are not in university, but rather because philosophy is one of those branches whose apprehension differs fundamentally depending on whether you're academically involved in it or not. However, I want to add that my university also differentiates between the paradigms (theoretical philosophy, practical philosophy and history of philosophy). Thank you for spreading an accurate first picture of philosophy.

hello, I like your "taxonomy" however, I wonder why you included "Phil of mind" as a subcategory parallel to "ontology" below "MetaPhysics". (likewise Phil of Religion). Why not Phil of Science? Phil of Mathematics?. Where the later two will be located (I meant, under which category)? I'm just trying to understand and make full sense of this very useful "taxonomy". Thanks

Hi L. Barrera, and thanks for watching! The taxonomy I've provided here is VERY basic and leaves lots of stuff out. It was designed just to help folks get started on understanding the relationships between various topics in Philosophy (something I wish I'd had when I started in my philosophical journey). I think subjects like Phi of Science and Phi of Math are more difficult to organize as they cross over significantly between both Metaphysics and Epistemology. I'm not sure it would be fair to put them solely under one or the other which is why I didn't include them. But, it's certainly worth the time to think about. Thanks for the really good question! I wish I had a better answer.

@@ALittleBitofPhilosophy thanks for taking the time to reply and thanks again for your enlightening videos. Not sure about this, but i would expect a taxonomy to be coherent and include every “member of the specie” somehow either below, above or on the side. Probably that is not possible in such a complex matter, right?

Philosophy is the wisdom of God. Psalms 14 The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Philosophy is the beauty of God's creation. There is evil and good in this world. It is either God is controlling your thoughts or Satan is controlling your thoughts. Philippians 2:5 KJV: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself. When we feel feelings of jealousy. That means that we lack wisdom on who we are to God. James 1:5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. God's wisdom will make you understand Philosophy.
