    They certainly contributed to science and thus, directly or indirectly, to the world of measurement, but the exact answer has o do with an iconic place in Paris 😄

    ISO is not the best standard to follow for calbration, I use ANSI/ASME B89 which has much better calibrartion standards and does not charge you everytime you want to updated your process, ISO is a money hungry orginzation and thousands of fake certificates are issued world wide, just do a google search on this if you doubt it.
