I'm.. afraid to begin hrt. Afraid to lose my family. Afraid to lose my friends. Afraid I'll be left out in the cold. Afraid I'll be struggling to stand up during transition. But, honestly? Seeing such a compassionate take from such a long time ago has given me more confidence in approaching my doctor.

Isn’t this a very important decision? You shouldn’t be comparing notes with others. You should talk to a doctor about what is going on with you mentally before doing anything physically. Hormones can be / are dangerous.

Is Cyproterone Acetate (Androcur) safe for T Blocker?. In Southeast Asia normally we use Cyproterone than Spironolactone for T blocker. In my experience Cyproterone work better than Spironolactone...

But what about mental side effects? My sister began transitioning and had a psychotic break, is drinking and driving, acting wildly different. She wont conform to societal norms, and will find herself in jail or a hospital soon enough.

I want to transition, my mom's supportive, but I'm terrified of the logistics. Risks, transport, the pandemic, the fact that my dumb brain has auditory and information processing and memory problems and I can't even look at paper with overstimulation.

i appreciate this video a lot because of the truth behind hrt, something i am really into, wanting to go on but idk i may consult my doctor, (well i have to eitherway) i heard about a really low dose as an option, cause right now the negatives are out weighting the positives which is sading me personally cause i was excited when i decided to do it.

It costs a lot to be happy, and prepare for rejection, and isolation but still be happy with your self, and yes you look into the mirror and don't like what you see,then make changes until you like what you see that is what is,more important, than,,,anything else

I want to call out some misinformation here regarding injections of estradiol. Wild level changes and mood swings ONLY happen if administered in a nonoptimal manner, such as injecting into the thigh once every two weeks. Peak to trough ratios don't have to be high, and can be reduced to any ratio desired by changing the injection interval from a long one (two weeks) to a short one (twice a week). Properly injected (long needle into gluteus) there are NO uncomfortable mood swings when the right interval is chosen. A lot is known. Perhaps this video is out of date.

What would happen if you just take estrogen and progesterone. Without the testosterone blocker? Would you still see most of the changes?

Much of the info on HRT is out of date and innacurate. Estradiol only and Estradiol and Progesterone via IM is the Gold Standard of HRT.
