love dr keens and sheila they have taken great care of me ever since i was born, although i'm nearly 30 and don't go to chla any more, i will remember and thank them, along with dr geller and, chla for everything they have helped me and my mom with.
My son had diaphragm pacer implanted on Aug 31 he has C1-C3 injury. He has done AMAZING on the pacer he is already 6 hours a day on pacer off of vent. He is only 2 years old and has surprised all of us. I recommend diaphragm pacer for anyone that is eligible. My son for the first time since injury got to sir on a scooter with us and be pushed around the kitchen. It was amazing to see his expression on his face and No vent holding him back from playing.
