One of the main things I like about Tomlin’s lessons is his a ability to be innovative with his instructions. Especially when it comes to sharing techniques from other instructors. My knowledge of harp-playing has been immensely expanded to your techniques. Thank you.

Hey Tomlin! 5 years learning the harmonica and have made good progress under your instruction. I listen to all kinds of teachers and styles but not too many teachers convey the necessary information your studio conveys. Keep up the good work!

This is one of the most real world applicable lessons I’ve watched on you the. mandatory studying in my book. These are licks to put in the toolbox for sure! Amazing stuff his teaching Ethos playing things very slow is meta. YOUD SHOULD ALWAYS PRAXTICW AND VERY SLOW. You get your technique, phrasing and nuance down and then gradually speed it up. It’s harder to play something slow and clean than fast and sloppy l. You don’t want your mind memorizing bad habits. Killer video brother

Todd was a wonderful guest teacher! The way he describes and shows mouth shapes and the sound effects he makes is extremely informative. Thanks for bringing him to the school Tomlin!

hi tomlin, this is great. thank you! country harmonica is what "drew" me in back in the 1990s when i got my first harp. blues is awesome but there are some country players that have such a distinct sound and style.

A week ago I had the biggest heartbreak when I recorded 2 versions of my harmonica playing over a recording for my brother-in-law. 1st & 2nd position. He replied saying, "man I love that blues harp". Naturally, I would think he wanted that 2nd position and I panned it, giving it a nice reverb in my DAW. Lo & behold, he surprised me next morning wanting the 1st position melody on his recording saying that it sounded very sweet. So I'm here wondering: Can it be true that we harmonica players are fascinated with these more advanced methods (2nd, 3rd, 12th) while the regular listener loves the "sweeter" 1st position?
