We like to pin clarifications. We notice the convo going on regarding the number of cells in the human body. The exact number isn't known, and interestingly as Smithsonian points out, "using different metrics gets you different outcomes" (www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/there-are-372-trillion-cells-in-your-body-4941473/). The article estimates 37.2 trillion. Which is...a lot of "billions and billions!" And you also have to wonder---are you going to count all the bacterial cells in our body? Because that's also a whole lot. Cell bio is fascinating ;) P.S. Wanting to focus on prokaryotic vs eukaryotic cell characteristics only? Just to let you know, we have a new video focusing only on that! kzread.info/dash/bejne/gqypzMutnNmep8Y.html UPDATE: We have videos dubbed in Spanish and Portuguese using an artificial voice via aloud.area120.google.com to increase accessibility. I am 35 and going to nursing school for the first time. This makes so much more sense than my 75 year old professors lectures (no offense to him, he’s great). Thank you for this.
This is better than just plainly reading my teacher’s boring slide while preparing for an exam
can I just say thank you so much. I am a freshman in highschool in PreAp biology. I got a 65 on our first report card, I had gotten below 60's on the two tests. Then for my last two tests I discovered this account. I tried others but this one helped me the most. You explained as you went on, drew helpful pictures and so much more. I have gotten a 85 and a 94 on our most recent tests. I cannot thank you guys enough for the multiple videos for diverse topics. You saved my GPA and my life. Keep going as your saving so many students out there. Not gonna lie - I actually slightly now enjoy studying because i can come here instead of dozing off into papers.
BETTER THAN MY BIO CLASS I'm IN LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVE!!!

FIrst of all, OMG THANK YOU!! I opened my online lecture to start my Microbiology class for nursing school and after watching 3 30 minute videos I thought it was a wrap lol. I was like "yeah, I don't understand this" and closed my laptop for weeks. Here I am bored as ever sitting in Labor & Delivery watching the other nurses KZread things to learn- figured I'd do the same. After watching your amazing video I GET IT!!

It is one of the best videos I have seen so far, makes biology so much fun and better. Just wish our textbooks were this interesting like this video is lmao. Amazing work keep it up!
Your explanations are great for me especially when I’m just starting to study anatomy and physiology and I’m not a science student to begin with, but I’m interested in biology, anatomy and physiology etc. By the way, it will be great if you can do a part II about lysosomes, peroxisomes, microfilaments, centrosome, cilia, flagella. Basically, this two videos (if you are doing part II) will be about cell; nucleus, cell membrane and cytoplasm. Ohh and I love your presentation of amoeba sisters 🥰 Thank you so much for making this video! 👍🏻
Thank you for making your videos. They help so much by putting the facts down on the table

This video actually helped a lot, especially the connection at the end! Thank you Amoeba Sisters!
Back in my day, all we had were books and Schoolhouse Rock to learn this stuff. Y'all kids don't know how good you have it 😜

This was a great tour. As a guide, you did your duty tremendously well which satisfied my hunger of knowledge for some time(no offense it's just I can't help but stay curious ). I hope you arrange tours of more concepts. PS: You're every child's dream biology teacher.
This is the BEST intro to cells I 've ever seen!
i haven't learn soo much about biology then this 9 min video . What a creativity , Loves your work . Thankyou
Having a biology module in a chemistry centered course is wrecking my head since I've only done like the basic, skeletal version of biology and that was four years ago. My lecturer just assumes everyone's done it so a lot of us who haven't done biology are sitting there like, what the absolute bollocks is Endoplasmic reticulum or Phospholipid bilayer, and god, I've learned so much more in this video than I ever had in five weeks of lectures - Thank you so much!
I love your videos! I love watching your videos in Life Science Advanced 6th Grade class! When they show your video I get good grades on the test!!
What an astonishingly comprehensible explanation and demonstration!
You know what your videos are excellent for a revision!! Keep up the good work!
If anyone is looking for the three statements in the video that are included in the cell theory, go to 1:40 You're welcome. All quotes are there

It's not that bad, its colorful and much better than 10 minutes of a non animated person talking
Awesome. Thank you very much! I love it. It makes completely sense and understandable by watching this video.
I like how this is genuinely miles better than the college course im taking??? I sure hope they cover all the concepts I need, because this is way better and actually fun to watch
