Introduction to Azure Policy

Azure Policy is how compliance (such as HIPAA/HITRUST or PCI Compliance) is checked. Moreover Policy can be used to enforced rules for business and technical needs on Azure. In short, policy helps ensure that environments stay safe and secure for whatever their intended purposes are. In this video, we'll cover the basics on Policy and show you how to set up a built-in policy in the portal.

Great video, thanks Blaize! Are you able to create policies that will fail the VM creation at the validation phase rather than trying to create the machine and then failing half way through which means that you have resources that need to be cleared up? Or does Azure have another way of doing that? Thank you 🙂
