    What are the material properties need to be defined for explicit analysis? I am working on honeycomb structure with PLA material.

    You can refer any any material from ANSYS library for explicit analysis. You will get idea on what the minimum material properties are required for explicit simulation.

    Sir is it important to give mass to an object in explicit dynamics, suppose a truck and car is to be collided. The trailer is kept stable with fixed support and the car has been given some velocity. So, is it essential to give mass to that moving car and how to give it (in ANSYS software)?

    Hello sir, What is the difference between explicit dynamic, autodyn and ls Dyna modules available in ansys workbench Can I do impact analysis on composite material using explicit dynamic module for calculating residual velocity which has been done in autodyn module by researchers?

    If you are refering to Ansys mechanical explicit dynamic analysis, autodyne or ls dyna are the solvers. There is seperate autodyne and LS dyna modules also to perform the simulations. Yes, you can do to composite material analysis with explicit dynamic, check engineering date for few composite materials.

    Respected sir , can you help me in simulation of the turning operation where my simulation actually takes few weeks to solve . So if you could help me in mass scaling so that simulation runs in shorter period of time

    First try with coarse mesh, if your solution is okay then try with finer mesh only at required region also go with first order mesh. I will cover mass scaling in next video. But if needed then only you should go for mass scaling. Another way use virtual topology which will merge smaller faces and will reduce mesh in such region thus it does mass scaling.

    Sir i have applied coarse mesh only. And for travelling tool for 2 mm it shows me that it will take approximaltely 4000 hours . So can you help me with that ?? I want to know in detail how to apply mass scaling or virtual topology in my file which you said? I am beginner in these mass scaling and virtual on how to do in ansys
