@@sudhar1998 - I feel being wired offers better sound as well as opens more versatility when using the phone to make videos by being able to attach more to the phone. Still not excited about having something that close to my head, while understanding the health consequences associated with such. I am looking forward to seeing more reviews on this phone to see if they remedied the overheating and shutting off, etc.

It's just sad how they're losing just because of bad pricing/marketing decisions way back 2015... Just like LG and HTC I love Sony because of their unique approach in the market (i.e. Focus on Video/Cinematography). Unlike Chinese-brand manufacturers who keeps making 'clones' I wish I could get one but Sony already withdrew the Xperia line here in the Philippines. Still rocking my Z5 Compact

LG Just makes bad phones. This comes from a huge LG fan back than with the LG G2. Sony the same. 21:9 most people don't Like. 4k is nice but imo Overkill. Camera never was on a flagship level and the prices are way too high to compete.

I use an S8, and I finally have a pair of Galaxy Buds. The headphone jack is pointless, for some atleast.

@@Levi_52_336 yeah. At first I was mad about the removal but I've got pretty used to it. But thing is I just can't get the sound I want from Sony XM3 cans. I have a pair of Sennheisers and man, those are just way better. At this point, wireless is taking over. It's pretty convenient. Though I wouldn't mind a phone with a good jack.

@@Blitzkrieg63 Magnets; phones shouldn't go from ports to no ports, there should be a midpount. The phone will vibrate, creating sound, allowing for the enture bottom side of the phone to be a magnetic reciever, allowing for atleast three connections to be made. One for charging, one for audio, and the other for file transfer.

The headphone jack is bacc. When I'll need to change my Galaxy Note 9 (in two or three years), if Sony flagship phones still include a headphone jack, my next phone will be a Sony. Don't drop the headphone jack again ! Iron Man would be proud.

As an S8 user, the Galaxy Buds have made things simpler. I see no use for a headphone jack anymore; give out take 2 years, and they should be gone; Raycons are only $80, people should be able to fork over a bit of change for wireless earbuds when their only $40.

Felipe Flores What’s simplier than plugging a single cable with no battery issues, no latency issues, no cuts in audio, superior audio quality... I have a fantastic wired heatset (Sony MDR-1A) and I don’t see myself having Bluetooth stuff outside of speakers.

I was used Xperia S and Xperia XT with glowing xperia on it's chin, Xperia Z1 then i move to LG G5 and after that One Plus. Now i will upgrade to mark 2 for sure once it will come in market.

I really like the design of this phone, plus it has all the important features you want from a phone. This has a great camera but it also has other things to talk about such as brilliant audio quality and better positioning of its speakers. Sony have listened to its customers. It has to do with how much light the sensors can pick up and the compression of the image. More resolution means the individual elements of the sensor are smaller, and that call lead to poor light absorption and color accuracy. The compression also plays a huge part because when you take a photo, the file is HUGE. All cameras compress that data into a smaller and more common format like png or jpg. The compression has to take out some of the data and simplify the image, there's many different ways to compress an image and some techniques are worse than others. The uncompressed files are called RAW, and you'll see many comments asking about it because having RAW files means you can compress it yourself with better programs and formats

I don't know if it's me but the feeling of Sony's phone as very nostalgic and somehow stuck from the past. Like for example this advertisment looks like years ago. The japanese pride and tradition is still there. . . I hope somehow they can utilize their advance technology in exploring new design approach.
