Introducing the Winnebago eRV2: North America's First All-Electric RV | RV Cribs

During this very special edition of RV Cribs, our host Joey gets an exclusive look at the first all-electric RV, the Winnebago eRV2. He is joined at Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay by Kunal and Russ, the masterminds behind this new prototype.
This model of the Winnebago eRV2 is built on a 2022 Ford E-Transit™ Electric Van. Russ walks us through the coach’s exterior design and features, which includes multiple charging ports with separate chargers for vehicle and house. The goal of this is to maximize your range on the road and while camping. A typical RV water system and extra storage space is housed at the back end of the vehicle.
Stepping inside the vehicle’s interior unveils a beautiful, intuitive design with seamlessly integrated technology. There is plenty of room to walk around comfortably, as well as lots of natural light and ventilation. In the front, the driver and passenger seats double as a work area with a pop-up desk, creating the perfect setup for remote workers.
Moving to the middle of the eRV2, you’ll find a spacious bathroom that features a toilet and shower with extra headspace. The kitchen area aims to maximize the amount of available space and includes a mini fridge, an induction cooktop that can be stowed away, and an expandable countertop. In the back, there is an adjustable sleeping space, seating for up to four people, and a dinette.
Tech expert Kunal describes how the eRV2’s design, aesthetic, and colors are a mix of Japanese and Scandinavian influence. They wanted to transform a closed, tight space into something warm, bright, and cozy. Sustainable and recycled materials are used throughout to reduce environmental impact while enhancing user experience.
Everything inside this RV is completely electric and includes two lithium batteries that provide up to 15 kWh of usable power. The proprietary Winnebago Connect system offers full functionality and visibility all in one place for lighting, the fridge, water systems, climate control, battery power and more. Users can monitor and control everything from a touchscreen display or their smartphone.
The brains behind the Winnebago eRV2 worked hard to make sure users can unplug for as long as possible, providing the ability to boondock for up to seven days. As an industry pioneer, Winnebago will continue to innovate and meet changing consumer needs.

Love that RV is going EV… but a separate charger for the hotel load?? charging each system should be interchangeable.

Not for sale still. 100+ miles, Ford designed them for doing deliveries all over a city in one day, not for hours on a highway. :( Supposed to be larger packs coming that do ~230 miles on a charge. I'd be tempted at that range, but this...glad it's just a demo.
