There's another tip to get the resident cats to the new cat. First comb the new cat, then use the same comb on the resident cats, this way will speed up them getting used to each other, as now the resident cats has the new cat fur and scents on them, and they will also lick themselves and accidentally lick the new cat fur and swallow it, this will speed up the process, I've tried it.

We were living in a condo so we only had 1 for all 3 cats and it worked well! We did have to throw out the litter every 3-4 days though. We're actually about to move into a 2 story home soon and I do plan on buying a 2nd litter robot once we move :)
