Of all the Minimoog emulations out there, I've always felt that the Minimonsta is the only one that truly captured the sounds of the Mini. I should know, I'm lucky enough to own a 1975 Minimoog.

Honestly, I think this may be the best software synth ever made. Perfection.

18 years later, this has got to be a major Minimoog and forget about emulations, it's a Moog period

Original is still one of my favorite VST instrument plug-ins ever! I even had the pleasure to work on the original patch bank. What a unique sound. Congratulations Dave, Chris and company.

Rick Wright, genius at work! It warms my heart you mentioned him, not often he gets talked about, which is simply unfair. Hope this update includes a few Floydish patches! At 00:28 I can already hear "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" sort of a "falling" sweep patch! Love it!

I had the Minimonsta1 on my Mac G5 tower back then, and I remember how warm and fat the sound was! This is a MUST HAVE! :)

I remember the old Minimonsta, I loved how pure it sounds. And used it in music before. It's very good news. Because nowadays my favourite is only analog synthesizer or vst that sounds like analog.

I am all in for the upgrades sounds great. Your site seems to be flooded though, looks like we all have the same intentions!

The only thing I didn't like about Minimonsta 1 was the long scroll presets menu. Now, it's perfect!

I have a bass patch I created on the original and I’ve used it on so many of my tracks, it’s my go-to because it just sounds so good. I’m so happy to see this get an update.

I noticed the coloured keys have dissapeared from the interface. Do their sounds and functions reappear, in some way, in the new interface? Is there a short video-tutorial in the works for the brand new Minimonsta2?

Sounds great! Owned Moogs since 1987, love increasing the resonance to decrease the filter’s bottom end. It’s part of the Moog sound. Is there a setting to revert to reality?

Yes. There's a switch to choose which filter you'd like to use.

It's based on a 1974 Minimoog, but it goes well beyond the emulation remit and can really be considered it's own thing at this stage! It's core though, is like a mini.

Be believe that Minimonsta2's CPU consumption is lower than most VIs of it's size and polyphony.
