The clip of Hwasa rapping was from her solo song I Do Me on Mamamoo's first album. I doubt anyone realized at the time that I Do Me would become the MO for the whole group and how far they'd take it. You had an aww moment at the end when the members told Hwasa they'd never let her go. Never Letting Go is the moomoo fandom motto and is an alt title for their fan song I Love You Too. The song with the quirky, humorous sounding piano that was playing during Hwasa's foodie section is called Kidding and it's from her Maria EP. I imagine you've heard the hit title track Maria but if you haven't listened to the whole album yet you've missed some great songs. It was my fav album of 2020 and LMM (Lost My Mind) was my pick for SOTY. There's a gorgeous, cinematic MV for LMM. Kidding was one of two collabs on the album - Kidding was produced by Zico and DPR Live did a feature on I'm Bad Too. Btw, a while ago you talking about how much you love Golden/G Soul, who I hadn't listened to much other than his feature on one of my fav slinky grooves, Fire Water by Code Kunst. Male r&b crooners aren't really my thing but you did inspire me to check out more of his music so thanks! If you haven't heard G Soul's beautiful collab with Wheein on Butterfly from her solo album Redd you're going to want to check it out asap.

No matter who your bias, what group, or how strong it is: Wheein will sneak up out of nowhere and be adorable, or sexy, dance, sing, give the purest most wholesome laugh, something that melts and/or kills you and wrecks that bias you thought was unshakeable. Edit: the sounds in her name 휘인 actually go ho-een, but native speakers in any language get lazy and mush sounds together speaking quickly. Getting romanized as "Wheein" didn't help.

I also want to add that even though Hwasa is the most hated member she still is also the most popular. Out of Mamamoo she has the most followers on every platform and she has the highest views on her solo music videos and on other music platforms. I am African/Indigenous American and I hate the hate she gets from anti's for something she didn't do on purpose. I hate to bring it up but it's no secret we know the group did blackface doing a tribute to Bruno Mars uptown funk not knowing it was offensive but they hate Hwasa so much they single her out for the blackface incident as if she was the only one who did it. This happened in 2017 and they drag her every year for it, it becomes sickening to constantly see people even lying to get people to hate Hwasa. I always hope Hwasa stays strong because the amount of hate she gets is ridiculous and the bad thing is she doesn't even know why they are hating her! And there are kpop groups who are more popular who did more than what Hwasa did and they don't the amount of hate she gets. Sorry for the rant I just feel like it has become bullying when it comes to Hwasa. I really hate bullies!

For a while wheein wasn't being shown in the videos because she wasn't use to the cameras. During Queedom she was only shown when they were performing and even sometimes when they were getting their scores she wasn't there

I only wanted to see her and they cut her out ,which I really don't like ,so I didn't watch queendom full but only episodes with mamamoo in it.

Loved the reaction for this long awaited part 2 reaction 😁 I’ll admit I was one of those shallow people who when I saw Hwasa, I didn’t think she was as pretty as the other members, but the more I looked at her the less flaws in her looks I saw. I didn’t have a problem with her skin tone or weight, I just didn’t see her beauty. But after growing as their fan for a couple years, I had developed this warmth in my heart whenever I saw Hwasa and I find her to be adorable at times as well. The Maknae role suits her very well and I am disappointed in my past self for not noticing Hwasa’s beauty sooner.

The thing about Mamamoo's height teasing is they are all 1cm (less than 1/2 inch) apart from each other. All being so short, they make a REALLY big deal out of the 1cm they have over other members. Their CEO thought it's so funny he said to make a song out of it, it's a rap song called 1cm and goes harder than you expect from a joke song. The only song Mamamoo has that goes even harder is called Sleep In the Car, about filming m/vs overnight and either being exhausted staying up or sleeping in the car in make-up which is very uncomfortable.

Mamamoo have a song dissing each other for their height difference (1cm)Taller Than You. when they were shooting the MV for this song Wheein and Solar complained for sleeping in the car with make-up due to their long schedule and their CEO made another song from this situation: Sleep In The Car. these 2 songs are more rap.
