Yeah man, he's obviously been taking his practice seriously. I have a feeling Danish is kinda tutoring him in a way. likely not full on but maybe passing on great tips and advice. I say this because I see Lee hesitating before picking his licks. It's like he's so impressed with Danish that he wants to make sure and play the very best, most feeling licks possible.. And God who wouldn't feel that way, sitting next to in my mind easily one of the best guitar players out there right now.. But Lee is definitely taking things a little more serious & his tutelage is certainly showing in his playing as of late

@@mitchellferre1652 I played the Twighlighter and it has some extra controls on which speaker is wet, plus it is 6L6 driven as opposed to El84. The Twighlighter has a nicer gain when pushed, but these are loud amps. Don’t let the 12W per side scare you off the Panoramic. I’d have preferred the Twighlighter, but it was a bit too much $$$$. Both are great amps. I was lucky enough to visit a Killer Vintage in STL which is just down the street from their manufacturing facility.

I was walking down the street near my house and a older man saw my guitar case and called for me to come to him. He invited me into his house to show me a Magnatone Amp as he was a distributor of Magnatone. I remember him showing me catalog sheets and the one amp in his living room. His name was Louie Barello and he was known as a survivor of the San Francisco Earthquake in 1906.

I love the sound of those "small" 20W amps turned up for that slight break up. That is why I got into Supros. These have some of that same sort of deal, but they are just so much better. The dinamics are unreal!

Totally agree I got more happiness when I hit a A chord on my SG into my dimed HiWatt DR103 every Sunday evening at the remote village hall than playing as fast as I could. Magic and ringing ears!! I had that luxury back in the early mid 80s and miss it

Back in 1972, I had a 1967 Magnatone M-15A, (38 watts x 2) stereo 2x12. Paid $400 for it and a Baldwin Baby Bison guitar. Absolutely fabulous amp! I bought it from a friend's dad, he used to play in Big Bands and Country and Western bands ,from the late 40's - late 60's. Being a stupid kid in High school, I didn't really know what I had and traded it for a Silver face Fender Bandmaster 2x12 piggy back amp. The stereo Tremelo w/ pitch shifting was to die for. I am hoping one day, to find another one at a reasonable price.

28:25 - I compared this from my iphone 11 pro to my studio monitors, and could not agree more. When you are on stereo there's so much presence and loveliness to the tone. Even on Mono, through quality monitors, and hats off yet again to some really lovely recording. I expected some phasing when you were in stereo and couldn't hear any, or maybe my ears gone from listening to you too loud, who knows, but these sound Superb and so inspiring!!
