Anybody know when the pulse 5 will be released in the US? I read on jbl website it was supposed to be released this summer but that wasn't the case...

Does it sound better than pulse 4? Had the pulse 4 for 2 days then returned it as it sounded bad to me.... the lights are cool but the sound not so

what's the maximum decibels is it when maxed out to maximum volume?

how does light sync with the music? better than pulse4?

Loved everything about this review and it has made me want to find the nearest store that sells the Pulse 5 and hopefully connect my iPhone to one so I can hear how it handles my favourite genre of dance music which is liquid drum & bass. Will someone please tell me the name of the tracks and the artists that were used during the sound & light demonstrations? If I buy one I’d like to play both demonstration songs through it (in a darkened room of course!). Songs & artist/s please.

I have the pulse 4 and the bose soundlink 2 I can tell you that the pulse 4 has more bass and a better sound so the pulse 5 you can take it without hesitation

@@drewzyboy It’s really good once you play around with the EQ. I turned the base all the way up and dropped the treble by 1 as it sounded too treble heavy out of the box. It’s much better sounding than the Bose Soundlink Mini 2 as that’s very directional and this has great 360 clear sound. In terms of lights it looks great but while the lights are interactive and sync with the music it’s not as good as something like the Sony XB43 which really seems to know the songs you play, it’s also great for ambient sounds and just used as a light (the fire and waves lights and sounds for example are great) I’m also getting a Charge 5 soon so I can compare.

I’ve noticed with my pulse 5, the screen blinks red when I plug my usb charger in it.. is that normal? Its fully charged and brand new out the box

JBL PULSE 5 volume youcan decrease the volume only using your phone...now thinking how to reset this Pulse 5 if there is no button

While it's a cool concept, I don't understand how Microsoft Media Player's visualizations (which has been around since the early 2000s) do a better job of replicating the music - i.e. to sell me this type of product, it needs to actually dance to the music, not just shine random incoherent patterns off-beat.

House use, the aura. If you want portability, pulse but for the price i would buy a better speaker without rgb lights.

No volume buttons on the actual speaker wtf ? Other buttons there you wont need though. Terrible design flaw

I've Been So Upset About This. In July My Pulse 4 Stopped Working & I Returned It Back To Amazon Where I Bought It. I Expected To Just Wait Maybe A Month At Most To Buy The Pulse 5 Instead. I Held Onto My Money From My Return & August Came & Went. On The JBL Website; They "Promised" The Release Of The Pulse 5 In The US During The Summer Of '22. I Went On The UK Website; The Pulse 5 Was Out & Available For Purchase-But Of Course; They Wouldn't Ship To The US. August Came & Went. September Came & Went. October Came & Went. November Came & Went. December Is Almost Over. Still, No New Updates Or Any Information On When They Will Be Available For Purchase In The US. I Even Hit Up JBL Saying I Would Pay An Ungodly Amount For Shipping & Handling Just To Guarantee I'd Be Purchasing An Authentic JBL Pulse 5 Shipped From The UK. But They Denied Me Of The Ability To Do As Such. It Pissed Me Off Bc The Only Option Is To Hit Up Some Random Person I Have On Facebook That Lives In The UK, Pay Them Both For The Price Of The JBL Pulse 5 + The S&H Fees + A Service Fee For Doing Me The Favor & Just Cross My Fingers & Risk The Possibility Of Them Just Pocketing My Money & Never Sending Me My Pulse 5. I Haven't Felt Optimistic Enough To Do So & Definitely Do Not Have Money I Could Just Potentially Toss In The Garbage To Take That Risk. So I've Been Waiting Extremely Patiently With Zero Speaker In The Meantime In Hopes That They Would Finally Release It Here In The US. It Pisses Me Off That They Haven't Even The Decency Or Courtesy To Even So Much As Update Customers On When The ACTUAL Release Date Of The Pulse 5 Will Occur. It Still Says Summer 2022 When You Look Up The Release Date Online. It's Ridiculous That They At The Very Least Haven't Had It Available For Purchase At *_LEAST_* *BEFORE* Christmas Time. So So Upset About This, Man.
