Fun Fact: Zahndrekh isn't actually batshit crazy. He revealed to Obyron chooses to act that way because he wishes to spend his immortality by reminiscing the good old days and merrily prosecuting his campaigns as if he was still of flesh and blood. If others choose to see that as insanity, he can live with that stigma.

It's 50/50 actually. He IS deranged, but has moments of full control, when he can truly see what he had become, and it spites him. So he chooses to be still like that, as it makes him feel happiness.

I have consumed all of your necron content in 24 hours. This has been by and far the most enjoyable content I have consumed from the internet in quite some time. Assembling doomsday arch’s while listening to the great feats of the neurons... does it get better than that.... I don’t think so.

The best voice on KZread. I could listen to cookbooks from this guy. How did we of the warhammer community get so lucky? Then he finds lore no other has put together, making original content? I mean... am I awake? Hmmmm... I must check with my Master. I fear the faintest touch of Slannesh.

Every time I think I've seen, your entire body of work, & liked all of your videos , then something from several years ago pops up that I've never seen before; & for the record I've been watching you for several years since nearly your beginning, the first episode, I saw of your work was. Introducing Imotekh and the Sautek Dynasty Warhammer 40K Necrons Lore from 2019. As a fan of your work I don't think you can appreciate how truly annoying that is! You're by far the very best at the Warhammer videos, you bring these stories to life in a way that no one else can or does. On the off chance you actually read this considering this video is so old you probably don't pay attention to the comments from videos anymore, but on the off-chance out of your entire body of work my favorite story is SPACE MARINE CHAPTER FOUNDING. Not because of the lore because of the unique relationship of the general & the blood spear had, this story is unique & truly captivating! the lore was useful & wonderful but the story, you wrote in my opinion is truly Your Best Body of work.

man, what i loved is how you talked about Imotekh's hate of the orcs. If the old ones had bred a race to counter Imotekh, back in the war of havens, it would of been the orks. heh, you were right. Necrons' true counter were the krok not the eldar. pure logic vs pure natural chaos.

I used to play the crons in 5th ed...now I want to play em again after hearing this.

New to 40k, the necrons story line is amazing, the whole 40k story is amazing. The necrons are my favorite so far, and your voice takes the whole thing to a terrifying delightful level.

I love both your necrons videos. It gives that ancient and eeriness that goes with the faction. I look forward to you making videos for any and all other necron videos.

I know! I never gave them much thought until about 4 years ago. When I started reading I realized how magnificent they were. GW have really raised their game and given every codex and every faction a lot more plot and drive than they did before, IMHO. I love it! Thank you for listening, brother. :)

One intresting thing about Zandrek and Oberyn is that when Imotekh gives them orders he words it very specifically so Oberyn knows what there dealing with So for example A brutal dynasty for Orks

The strategist... It seems, the most we can do is to make any and all strategic and tactical decision from quadrant commander to platoon level with a D20, and stick to the dice at all cost. It will not give victory, but at least fuck up his thinking scheme for a while, as he tries to find any strategy in the seemingly random action of the enemy.

Baldermort, my lord, you do us proud every time. The Necrons are currently my favourite army to play and Imotekh the most powerful model in my army (waiting on Void Dragon). When I started 40k, Necrons were just mindless automatons with no characters or personality. Now we have such great figures as The Stormlord, The Traveller and the Silent King.

The color scheme of the Sautekh is what made me want to use the Necrons I got with the 9th edition starter kits and Indominus box. Now that I see how powerful this Dynasty is I too welcome our spooky scary sci-fi skeleton terminator overlords.

Zahndrekh and Oberon remind me of a more competent Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Considering how the insanity of Quixote was a convenient way to frame the fascinating characters around him, I can see Zahndrekh 's adventures being very interesting tales.

I would like one of your stories to maybe center around a complex, over lapping, sol system defense led by a 'good' man of the Imperial Guards PDF forces/Govenor. I have daydreamed about perhaps one day writing a book which I will never actually do, but that's why my gamer tag has been Igheritic since the mid nineties. It might be heretical, however, with tithes payed, and judicial placement of tithed troops to feed the mill, a shrouded light in the dark might not burn too bright eh? Love your content as always! Like opening up a birthday present each video you create.

Pretty terrifying and fear-inducing besides the ones that are inflicted with the Flayer virus.

Can you please do some lore on the Novokh Dynasty!?!? I don’t even know if there is such a thing as I haven’t been able to find much but I believe you could write a pretty interesting short story about it. I also believe that whatever you write I would like to listen to it. Great video!

It was later revealed that zahndrekh isn't actually seniel, but rather he's faking it. He's just embraced his new found immortality and is enjoying it in a rather eccentric manner. To top it off Obyron is in on it and just plays along, relly wish we got more stories with these two.

Damn, that was worse than the one with the Q. Focus! Ok, fine. If you guys think you can create a better name, I'd like to see you try. What is that supposed to mean? What a Chad still interacting with comments on 2 year old videos, I'm absolutely addicted to your videos, and the Fall of Cadia video had made me an emotional wreck by the end, such amazing story telling, I cannot wait to see what's next.

A Nemesor Zahndrekh novel would be humorous whenever he shows his broken eccentricity & decisions that would make his lesser peers Facepalm. And intriguing as Zandrekh's mindset sheds more light on the wars of succession. Throw in a subplot where loyal Obyron weeds out opportunistic traitors and quietly dispatching "honoured war prisoners" and we got a good book!

For me the ultimate power and darkness is one word "Vampire" I worship vampires and obsessed with them beyond salvation, I also love Necrons beyond words. I only play with Necrons and your last description of the Storm Lord were one the best lines I have heard and read about the Necrons, they are fantastic beyond legends, I wish I were one of them, fuck chaos gods and others all hail Necrons

If anyone can help me out with this I would be immensely grateful. What is the name of that music theme Baldemort uses in this video. I have searched musical themes but I cannot find it. But specifically, the musical theme that starts from the 7 minute mark. It is that one that I am searching for, but cannot find.

Could anyone please say what is the name of the music in this video?

Love your narrating, a voice made for grimdarks. just one complaint, the background music is far too loud, tone down the music and it will be perfection.

Yeah, that was an early one. I am a total amateur, so the sound levels were hit and miss. I hope they are better now. A lot better. But that one, Imotekh was in my first 20 or something? Rough learning curve when you know zero about videos, sound, editing, computers, erm, well p'ractically anything. Its been a challenge I can tell you. :)

Seems like he could use some mortal slave units. Maybe even a return for the Pariahs.

This should be an audible book.

Question and this may seem like an odd thing to ask, but I was revisiting this little Gem and heard the soundtrack used. I remember the tune from somewhere else and I was wondering if you had the name of the track ?

Tough question. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... Complicated. if they did that then they would need to be mystic in nature really and the Old ones were the mystic ones. Necrons representing the onward drive of technology etc. But an interesting idea. Hmmmm. Brilliant thought brother 320466. :)

Dudell Brödel there is a rumour that the Emperor was a weapon created by Qah, the last Old One. But I think new lore has over written this a bit. The jury is out on that at the present. :).

You should put some thought into perhaps digging into some of the lore of the minor races. Enoulians and Rakgol and Stryxis etc. The rogue trader supplements have a hell of a lot going on. Someone mentioned to me that a Zoat took over a blackstone fortress recently. Interesting times.

It depends on the individual really. It’s been stated that occasionally Awakened Necrons will murder their sleeping rivals, I believe the Anrakyr the Traveller will go out of his way to help awaken sleeping tomb worlds, Trazyn and Orikan have both allowed dormant tomb worlds to be destroyed rather than awakening the occupants so they can steal... er... rescue the Dynasty’s artifacts for the good of the Necron empire.

Still he doesn't have the spiteful resilience of the human military that fights greater races on ever front everyday. Not saying he couldn't defeat the human's military but if their situations were reversed, he couldn't withstand such an onslaught.

It doesn't matter what the fluff says. The dude is never going to win against the marines. GW will never commit financial suicide!
