Introducing CASCADIA from Intellijel + Avril 14th patch rundown

AVRIL 14TH ON CASCADIA // • Aphex Twin Avril 14th ...
In this video I introduce you to CASCADIA a highly versatile semi modular synthesiser from intellijel. We take a broad look at the features (which are vast!) before going into a patch breakdown of the patch from the Avril 14th video.
I took a more relaxed approach to this video, taking my time to explain the patch and explore the concepts and features. I’d love to know what you think of it (leave a comment).
I’ll also have more videos with Cascadia in the future so let me know in the comments what you’d like to see explained and explored.

System 100m x 2600! Sounds beautiful. Little pricy, but would be great for people just starting eurorack who want to just spend once rather than buying a rack and a bunch of modules. Wonderful quality of life features like the subdividing LFO.

Still laughing at all the people complaining about the price. It’s a high quality product made by an amazing small company out of high quality parts. If you want cheap gear there are plenty of options, and they all sound inline with their prices. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think it's easy to just go "semi modular dual oscillator mono synth" but you look at the features and it's really packed in for the price, impressively so. Each of the features is also an interesting and non basic take on it. The MIDI Integration, pedal integration, mixer and filter options, VCA routings etc. It would take a hell of a lot of modules, even the cheapest options out there to recreate it one to one.
