    Thank you for sharing your skills with everyone. For those watching and finding the speech speed frustratingly slow, the three dots in the corner will bring an options screen where you can change the video sped. 1.25 will sound more “normal,” 1.5 is clearly speeded-up but very watchable.

    To anyone like me who thought to themselves, "Maybe gutted paracord will work." It doesn't work very well. To anyone who feeling determined, try ironing it.

    Your realistic approach of doing it like not fuzzin about everything being lined up suits me just fine. Doing it for fun is how it should be. Thanks man.

    All 4 are acceptable :left, right, left, right, for a right handed sword, ;right, left, right, left, for a left handed sword, :left, left, right, right, ;right, right, left, left, again for appropriate handed sword. In addition there is "solid wrap, left handed twist, right/left handed twist, "do not tamp down the twists" and set with waxed toothpick trim toothpick after set. Upside down twist same process,Checkerboard pattern, Square not, Multi strand braid, Combinations of any or all of the above. In the advanced wraps resin gluing is not cheating.

    In place of the electrical tape n glue, try using dbl sided carpet tape to hold it in place Great video tho

  • @timothyventura2231

    I’d think the double sided tape wouldn’t allow really tight wrapping, you know? It’s not about the wrap sticking to the handle, it’s how tightly woven you should have it

  • @BCola2978

    @BCola2978

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hey Tim.... I agree with you 100% about weaving tightly. What I meant by using the dbl sided tape was, not to just lay it over the tape. But as your pulling on your turns the tape is acting like an extra pair of hands. By no means was I trying to criticize. Just think tanking. 👍🏼

    Gotta love the hate here. Let me guess, using pure alloys, modern oil/rust inhibitor, and machine made drill bits/files is also cheating, right? Lets hope none of these keyboard "purists" wear mass produced clothes, grocery store food, or use modern magic to power their smartphones...

    Hubby asked me to fix the dusty and undone wrappings on three of his samurai swords. "Sure" I said, "it doesn't look that hard. I'm an artist, I can do this!" Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah! I am on my third try - on only the first sword handle - to get it right, chanting out loud, "Its not that difficult, not that difficult, it's not that difficult, its not that difficult" while in my head I'm asking, "where can I go in Tucson, Arizona where this can be done by a professional?" Does anyone know a sword master in Tucson?

    Rice paper instead a cardboard, rosin instead wax, and you don't have any clamps so you're using superglue, ouch. OK we're dun with your cheating: not a bad job anyways. Your squares are better than the factory did so whom I to complain, besides which it's pretty And that is your wrapped handle that is not something that can be sold though unless you're a con. Because you don't want to sell that to anybody who might take it in and have it professionally redone yeah it will come back on you if you don't move 1st.
