Textbooks are not inherently boring or hard to understand, no more than instructors/professors are inherently boring or hard to understand; perhaps students and faculty could test this theory...truth is, you can test anything, even GOD, however somethings are verifiable and some things are not.

This channel has done more for me than my lecturers & tutors ever could. I failed my IntroStats course twice using only lecture material, then I found these videos last semester the three days before my midterm, and this channel got me up to a 70% average.

6 minutes in and I already have a much better understanding. Professors are really hit or miss sometimes and having people like you that help is honestly a god send. THANK YOU.

I'm an engineering student who fails engineering statistics and in a brink of failing again because of this, but your explanation is really good. I think I get an idea about how it works. This is starting to be the number 1 place I come to when I am struggling to get a conceptual grasp of some mathematical subject. By taking the abstract and explaining it using some of the simplest every day situations that the average person can identify with and easily understand, you've made approaching some intimidating subjects far less daunting.

Bless your soul. Thank you for the help! I have a test tomorrow and i was still struggling to understand this. Wish more stats teachers were like you because u explained so well that I didn't end up lost.

I've read so many definitions of null and alternate hypotheses, and after two weeks of not knowing what is what, I can finally say that I am enlightened. This is amazing, to be honest.

I never comment, and rarely ever purchase anything online.But you truly are AMAZING, and the best teacher / professor i've ever had. Your courses are well worth the price and then some! Thank you for explaining concepts in such a down to earth and simple manner.

I rarely comment on youtube, but after crunching a few (probably a lot) of articles about Null Hypothesis, I have to say that: This is the best explanation so far. By giving a simple but relevant example, understanding the concept still requires some effort but much easier.

never been a stats student in my life date nut somehow i cleared the one of the toughest aptitiude test in the country and got the call from the top college for their mba in analytics program . learning all concepts from you one night prior to the interview . its like you are dirctly ouring every concept in my head thank you sir lots of love and respect from INDIA.

Why does everybody talk about hypothesis testing (books and videos alike) without telling new learners know what a hypothesis is from a statistics perspective??? Thank you for FINALLY being one who makes it clear. This helps dramatically with the cognitive aspects of learning. Kudos!!!

You are not stupid. People who call themselves professors and teachers but don't know how to actually teach and the attitude they have that a student should already know these things is what makes us think we're idiots.

This is one of the very few times that I’ve actually commented on a KZread video. But! Within the first seven minutes of this video, I have to admit, I have learned a more clear and simplified approach to statistics from this gentleman! Each student was required to give a test twice, once before starting the classes (Test 1) and once again after completing 4 weeks in the class (Test 2). Thanks a lot for your course !!!! Almost 45 years ago as a math student at the university I had a semester course on mathematical statistics (in the 4th year) after having gone through a standard curriculum on analysis, lin. algebra, probability theory, functional analysis ... etc. To be honest I didn't grasp the meaning of hypothesis testing at all ! The guy who was lecturing the subject just piled up tons of formulas and specific (and sometimes weird) statistical terminology without giving us a single intuitive clue what it is all about. So we memorized formulas, procedures, ... having a very limited idea what we were doing. Now I can see the meaning after more than 40 years ! It is sad and amazing at the same time.
