Intro to Construction Contract Administration - Chapter 5: Submittals

The Contract Administration Practice Community continues its multi-part series on the introduction to Construction Contract Administration. The session continues to follow the information covered in CSI's Construction Contract Administration Practice Guide, and this month we will address the aspects of Submittals. While the content may be focused towards professionals new to the practice, we invite experienced professionals to please join in and offer your expertise as we lay a foundation for a solid future in the industry.
CSI's Contract Administration Community focuses on issues facing anyone affected by contract administration. Free monthly meetings cover topics ranging from what types of forms to submit to who hold responsibility for different aspects of a project. The Contract Administration Community is led by Douglas J. Freeman, J.D. and Jim Rains, FAIA, CSI, Rains Studio
CSI Practice Sessions are not submitted for continuing education credit with AIA or any other organization/institution. The sessions are meant to be community driven and open to discussion. As such, the overall breadth of the session’s content cannot be fully promised prior to the session taking place. Following each session, attendees are able to request a certificate to use for self-reporting through a short survey sent to the email used during registration.
