Zerodha Volume Profile is of limited use. Try Ninjatrader software. It is free to use. For Ninjatrader, visit their website Ninjatrader dot com For data feed, try Global data feeds. Very reliable and not expensive. Volume profile is available in Ninjatrader 8 You wont face this problem with Ninjatrader.

Your Intraday Trading with VWAP appears very relevant, and I shall start using it from this week. I primarily trade Intraday in Options for long Put & Call with buy at low & sell at high of the Price Range. Kindly clarify how to apply VWAP for Option. Should I apply it on the Spot such as BankNifty Index and decide the strike, entry and exit based thereon?

Really? my experience has been quite opposite. I could not find any meaningful explanation videos from foreign sources. Most of them were selling baits or click baits with hardly any strategies or detailed explanations. Where as I could find thousands of such videos from India. For example, the Face to Face videos from Vivek Bajaj is another excellent example of real traders explaining their logic as detailed as one would expect. Raunak from this channel is also a good example. So many to count on.

Extremely impressed by this presentation as it was done with clarity, detailed and with examples. This helps us in practical application. Thank you very much. I found this video the best amongst what I have seen.

Excellent! You never fail to surprise us with your knowledge and the presentation. I was wondering at the beginning of the video on why you chose VWAP for this week, but the combination of Volume Profile and VWAP was something I didn't expect. I did get some decent trades with VWAP in the past. With this knowledge, I would definitely try Volume Profile with VWAP and Price Action for better trades. Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks so much Joethim. VWAP is very useful for Day trading. Followed so widely that it works due to this very reason.

This is such a great video as I also use VWAP along with Fibonacci strategy and it's been extremely helpful in being a profitable trader.

Good to know that there is someone out there like me replicating actions happened on index futures on index options. This works very well although tedious sin e we need to shift between CEs & PEs al the time. In this, VWAP comes handy. If we use this along with Ichikkoku Cloud, will it be a good idea, since cloud indicates future trend also. Please advise. (Mainly, am asking this to avoid whipsaw and false signals in sideways mkt)

Brilliant stuff and really helpful. I am still new to markets, and something I am trying these days is look at stocks that are really trending in the first 15-30 mins (all 5 mins candle above or below the VWAP). I take this as the trend for the day and then wait for price to retrace to VWAP and then take trade in the direction of the trend if I get a 5 min candle which favors the trend (e.g. bullish engulfing for uptrend).

Thx for the video. your voice & explanation is as easy and pleasant as always. On every single chart, I can see so at least 1 or 2 instances on charts where I could have taken trade using the same logic that you explained and those trades would have landed in SL and another problem with the set-up you explained is that, there is no defined place where I Can keep my SL, so the accuracy of following this is equal to any other system that many traders use. I know it needs practice but again, not having the rules can make one lose more than win. what rules do you suggest one to follow for SL or for Target ?

You could use Activity Bar:Price Distribution indicator in TS. Else you can also get Volume Profile Indicator for TS. Its called NTT volume profile.

Very well explained .A few clarifications please what time time frame do you use for intraday .Also at approx 8:30 minutes into the video you mentioned not to enter when price price moves above VWAP or short when price goes below VWAP yet In your actual trade of Bank Nifty ( last eg) that’s exactly what you did .Would appreciate your response to clear my confusion thank you .

Hi, Thanks again. As Volume profile shows different HVN & LVN as per the number of days show on the chart. So I wanted to know the right application & usage of Volume profile. If I am trading on Friday, then I need to see the volume profile based on 2 prior days ( Wednesday & Thursday) or I need to see the chart from Monday to current price to get the right Volume profile data?

Very well explained. But Sir wanted to understand which stock to select for trading based on VWAP. We should be aware before hand that this stock looks good / trendy. Because by the way we check top gainers/ losers, the game is already played. So just want to understand on how to identify the stock a day prior as to which stock can have momentum. Needless to say as a beginner will start with index only. Thanks a lot for the useful info which is provided.
