It’s about her body language. She also manages to carry her comedic energy really well while singing which I find impressive. Thank you for explaining why I loved this more than any of the others I’ve seen. 😭

this is performed so differently than all other Cinderella’s I’ve seen, it’s very refreshing. also she makes Sondheim music sound effortless

Laura Benanti was pretty funny and clumsy in the 2002 revival.

I love the way she seems like she’s never worn a ball gown before. It’s funny and real. So well acted.

Can you imagine... Phantom meeting Cinderella like I just can't keep thinking about it Phantom: I'm your angel of music! Cinderella: That makes no sense :)

She’s playing this as a completely reaction to something so ridiculous. I love it. Not to mention she sounds phenomenal. Wow.

Annika Wheble she literally originated Ariel. And she’s done belty roles like Fantine in Les Mis and Sarah in Guys and Dolls. Also, Phantom isn’t really an opera.

Just because you can doesn't mean that you should. I actually think Sierra showing off and doing that would have ruined her characterization. Cinderella is not a showoff, she is incredibly humble and grounded. Bringing out a random high note just because you can would not work for this character or performance. Plus, changing what Sondheim has written is just blasphemy. Lol

Sierra is just absolutely phenomenal in this role. She really captures the vibe that Cinderella is a regular person playing the role of a princess, a lot of the other versions are too aloof and noble

What I wouldn’t have given to be at this show. Which is a funny thing to say for a girl who has lived in NYC all her life. Usually, the only thing standing in my way of a truly great Broadway performance is budget. But this time, no. I needed a flight ticket to California this time. Lol

She was perfect for this role

I really love the way Boggess approached this song; however I still really enjoy the way Anna Kendrick sings this song as well
