I am a judge for high school theater productions. Happen to fall into this production and thoroughly enjoyed it! No matter what anyone says (because everyone is a critic, even if they have no background to be qualified) it's really great that theater is alive and well.
Most of their voices sound exactly like the original broadway cast like its almost scary especially the bakers wife, the witch, and little red OMG i almost prefer this to the original i never usually like jack but i love him in this show every single person in this show is so talented AMAZING

Little Red definitely has a lisp, but I didn't think anyone else did.

I think it might be the microphones

In musical theater to get out diction we must literally talk so clear that we have to spit out of our mouth and sometimes mics make this create an illusion of a lisp

OH MY GOSH this was good enough to go on broadway!!!!
The new movie brought me here. I love how they did the new movie.. Its great. This is good for high school students. I didnt know that this was an original screen play. They did good doing the new version. Very good job production and the new actors. :)...
Can we talk about how good the witch was?!! The orchestra was great!
Who else thought that everyone was pretty well casted for roles
Mule dog must've been an in-joke as well. Probably the school's mascot.
why is nobody talking about how beautiful Cinderella's white dress is?!?!?!
A very good show with very talented actors and actresses. Seriously, I remember doing my own High School Production of Into the Woods and I was proud of my own crew. Still, it's very awesome to see the work of other schools do what my own did. Sometimes, I wonder how it would be to have two schools performing the same musical on opposite sides of a theatre. That would be something new if not inspiring. There'd be no rivalry, only fun; as it always goes with a musical production.

That would be neat! Or if they mixed the cast and made one awesome production!

I did a middle school performance of Into The Woods! I'm curious, what part were you? I was Jack's Mother

AnK productions Ha ha, nice! Jack's mother was a bit interesting, always berating him and all. Then he got gold and she was like, "Oh, you did everything right." Lol. Not when the giantess came. I was in fact the baker collecting the items for the witch. Yep, I had a key part. Best part for me was, "What kind of hunter are you?" "I'm a baker!" xD

That's awesome! You got the lead guy! That must have been fun
I don't usually watch or even like high school plays, but I've got to admit these youngsters were fantastic. Best acting, and best singing, and best all-around performance. And the baker's wife was so professional, she is defiantly headed for Broadway.
The guy who plays Jack is great. Reminds me of a kid in my school that could play him.
Okay, I want to applaud every single person in this performance! You guys were great! (:
THE WITCH IS SO GREAT WHY IS NO ONE SPEAKING OF HER
This performance was simply amazing! I'm doing this play as well, and I'm Jack, and I'm getting lots of inspiration from the Jack here! Wonderful job to the entire cast- I wish I was at the original performance!
Honestly, 2:04:38 is probably the best part in this whole play, in the movie even. I watched this whole part from start to finish last year and I keep going back because the cast is so great and I admire all of them. I even went as far to look up these people's social media. They're all AMAZING. And to think this is a high school production.
I wish my high school could do this play again. I would either be the wolf or the narrator who sings that one song with everyone else.
I'm in an Into the Woods musical in our community theater, and I decided to watch this video to find inspiration. But I gotta say, bravo to the girl who played the witch she's absolutely stunning in Stay with me
1:05:36 On the Steps of the Palace 1:22:27 Ever After 1:24:59 Prologue: So Happy 1:37:26 Agony (Reprise) 1:49:07 Witch's Lament 1:55:24 Any Moment/Moments in the Woods 2:04:36 Your Fault/Last Midnight 2:11:35 No More 2:20:21 No One is Alone 2:26:51 Finale: Children Will Listen
I was watching the brand new play yesterday! It was brilliant and I loved their songs!
I'm playing the baker's wife in the footlights theatre school and we have got our dress rehearsal this week which is 8 hours
cinderella's prince had a very good voice i just see people giving props to the other actors (which is deserved) but he did a really great job
What an amazing production! I have done theater my entire life! I couldn't take my eyes off it! Kudos to the Director, school and thespians involved in this production! You will remember this phase of your life forever!
incredibly impressed with the pure talent this school has! wow! I played the Baker when a local theatre company did it here. Bravo to this group so amazed!

My friend was the steward in the play and she has a soft voice in singing, and when her solo came, the mic broke so she had to scream"LOOK AT THE BLOOD WITHIN THE SHOEEE THIS ONE IS NOT THE BRIDE THATS TRUERE SEARCH FOR THE FOOT THAT FITS!"

One of the better performances I've seen of my favorite show. Great job! Especially the leading ladies. Little Red, the witch, Cinderella and the bakers wife were superb.
I'm playing the Steward at my high school's production of Into the Woods and the audience always laughs when I kill Jack's mom wtf 😂

@@jennas1744 I am also playing Jack's mother in mine. I agree that the audience laughing during that scene seems a little odd. Especially since the director is aiming for that scene to be very serious with little to no humor at all.
When our school did it we kept inserting random jokes that were not at all in the script and it was the best
This production is FABULOUS!!! The opening number alone (which is a nightmare of timing, delivery, etc) is worth a TONY award. Bravent to a superb cast and crew. Thank you for posting it for us>
I just think it’s impressive in ANY into the woods production how the witch just memorizes those lines and they say it like it’s no big deal
