I had to climb this during a blizzard. It was a pain in the ass but you did really good at actually explaining it. And opening the map more than at the start. It really helps orient a person.

5:20 There is no time crunch even during the proving. The sense of urgency is an illusion, what with the intense and hurried music and all the NPCs yelling at you to do stuff. You can explore as leisurely as you please, and you can even crawl through the trail race at your own pace, take a nap on the way if you want, while the other contestants shout “Look! The outcast is catching up!” Try it.

Yeah, I have done it. I know it isn't an actual time crunch. I'm not quite sure why I said that part in the video

@@saurillian Lol you meant to say “There’s nobody breathing down your neck”. BTW, they tell Aloy she is crazy for taking the old trail. Too many deaths. But have you tried taking the NEW brave trail? It’s infinitely worse.

@@davidpoirier8725 I have, and I have to agree. I don't know why any sane person would prefer that trail over this "run down" trail

When I was live streaming this game, a lot of viewers had low attention span. They got bored easily and left! So this is one of the reasons why I did not spend a lot of time trying to get to these areas. I did not want to spend too long if I was not 100% sure if I could. I did try to get up here in my playthrough.

Yeah, some people on the internet have short attention spans. It is a bit odd seeing that with a livestream though, normally that crowd is a bit better. In my case it hasn't seemed to be an issue yet, even with hour long videos. I guess it just depends on the audience

@@saurillian Maybe because I play games blind and don't need help. So some people like to tell people how to play games. They leave when they realise they can't. I am still trying to figure why people come and leave after one or two minutes of a livestream. Especially a livestream of a game.

@@awdeyshushgaming There are many different reasons. It's just kind of an understood thing about the internet that most people will only watch a video or livestream for less than a minute before deciding if they'll watch the whole thing. Most of my videos see between 40% and 70% of viewers stop watching in less than 30 seconds of any given video. This is average across KZread

@@saurillian I was mainly referring to watching a Livestream of a game. I can understand if somebody is lifestreaming a game at part one and a viewer starts watching. If the viewer does not like the stream after 1 or 2 minutes it makes sense if they want to leave. However, I do make it clear in my descriptions of how I will be playing the game. So people know way before the playthrough starts. It just makes no sense when people join a stream at parts 2, 3, 20, 30, 78, etc, and never watched any of the previous streams in that playlist or any of the VODs! Then they leave after 1 or 2 minutes! There is nothing stopping anyone from watching my previous streams to get a feel of what to expect. I find it really insulting when some random viewer turns up at episode 33 and then leaves. That is stupid and frustrating.
