Jim and Tory, you guys are absolute legends. Given that this is the ultimate in self-reliance, self/dependence, your outdoor adventures are literally a wonderful upbringing for your children. At the same time your ability to responsibly provide safety and security and deal with all the little details while smiling and doing all the presentation work is impressive. Absolutely inspiring work. It's a real privilege to be able to enjoy your adventures too.

What an adventure! Such a mix of stunning & scary. Those currents looked strong you both paddled them so well. You're checking the Bear etc prints, aware of North's behaviour and acting with a preventative measure was right. Being able to constantly assess the area yr in is such a skill, never mind everything being with a family involves. Jim I'm also grateful u let us get a sense of the area yr in by taking time to show us, it makes such a difference. Thank you Jim & Tori with Wesley & Hudson too❣️

Just amazing! Can I say I am just in awe of you and your wife!! My grandfather was a trapper all over this area. He also traveled the stikine, down to Anchorage. He knew the river well and taught his family. As kids we knew to respect this river as well as fear it. You guys did a great job!!

Such a huge job to go on a canoeing/camping trip, then add 2 children a dog and try to film all the adventures, hard work!! you guys make it look easy. The places you go and the things you see and experience are all worth it!! Its so important to expose our little ones to the beauty of nature and Canada is just teaming with beauty..Alaska as well...rugged beauty!! Im looking forward to trips like these when i have grandchildren..the next generation of nature lovers!

Haha, ya it had its challenges snd concerns. However our whole journey down this river is fully accessible by jet boat and we had the contact of multiple jet boat captions in Wrangell Alaska which lies at the rover’s mouth so, we have a good safety net and can pull the ripcord in any location along the journey.

This episode and this series get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from me I so enjoy every minute ❤️you guys.

Tori and Huddy are a favorite but the entire family is wonderful.

So stoked to see how Huddy is developing. You two should start a wilderness parenting channel, nature is what children need....Keep killin it Jim and Tori!!!! ..... and while im here, Jim go grab Ted and do something crazy, do a bucket list journey bud. I am 54 and i see some of the trips i wanted to try, but in reality they would be a stretch now.... 2024 better have a crazy journey Jimbo!!

Thanks for your great videos. I love your family! I camp a lot. Usually, I'm down fsr as far back as I can get. I used to do backpacking and canoeing trips when I was very young. I'm 68 now and feel the clock ticking for taking my adventuring up a notch. For my 65th bday, I did a 4 day solo kayak trip in BC. It was wonderful. Now I have a touring paddleboard. This years plan is to do a multiday trip on it. Along with a summer of road trips down forestry roads. I can't go longer than 4 days on a water trip because I have a cat. She loves camping road trips, though. The best thing I ever did was a month in the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. I long for another extended wilderness trip like that. In the meantime, I'll keep watching your videos and feeling inspired!
