Intimacy & Romance in Ramadan | Adult Discussion

“Lawful for you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach (sexual intercourse) to your wives. They are your garments and you are their garments. Allah knows what you used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now cohabit with them (your wives) and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread. Then complete your fast till the night appears; but do not cohabit with your wives while you are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah. Approach not near thereto. Thus does Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.” (Surah al-Baqarah, V: 187)

I've been praying all my salah beside my husband. Thanks to coronavirus he works at home and I'm at the hospital, but Alhamdulillah I'm home for my prayers. This fasting is the first time I'm feeling so close to Allah and I feel at peace. What the ustadh is saying, I completely agree. Love your husband, love your wife and feel the peace in your heart.

Clearly explained. Ramazan especially should be spent with family (parents, spouse, children, siblings) and not be wasted away. Sahoor, iftaar, post iftaar. All these times should be relished with our loved ones. It just makes fasting actually refreshing, and energy-boosting both physically and spiritually.

@@zainabzahid2021 The ruling regarding the compulsion of marriage in Islam varies from the case to case. In normal cases, it is Sunnah to do so. But, in some cases when a person fears that he is being attracted to illicit relationships, it becomes compulsory. There are some rare cases when the marriage becomes prohibited.

Then just marry who at least believes in Allah and teach her the words of Allah so that she becomes more God fearing and has the Taqwa of Allah,, Trust me. I too wanted a God fearing woman but its not that easy,so instead I taught her and I'm teaching her everyday and she really understands that, because she knows that if I really love and respect her, I would never teach her something that's wrong.. And by doing this you will also get the reward from Allah. because you're teaching the deen of Allah to someone. And every good deed that she will do, you'll also get the reward of it... INSHA ALLAH

Allah asks us to try, to take a step towards Him. He says that the doors of forgiveness are always open. Don't push yourself very hard, and never loose hope in the mercy of Allah. It is one of the tricks of shaitan that he makes us feel hopeless and makes us perceive ourselves as sinners, just so we stop improving. He wants us to hive up... don't listen to shaitan and listen to what Allah says! :)

7 Major Destructive Sins in Islam The Seven Major Destructive Sins in Islam Do you know the 7 destructive sins in Islam? Every Muslim must know and avoid these major sins to protect themselves from severe punishment. If you have ever committed any of these major sins in the past, repent sincerely to Allah and resolve to never return to it. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Avoid the seven sins that doom one to Hell… “…Associating others with Allah (Shirk), magic, killing a soul whom Allah has forbidden killing, consuming Interest (Riba), consuming the property of orphans, fleeing on the day of the march (to the battlefield), and slandering chaste women… ” (An-Nisai) 1. Associating others with Allah (Shirk) The Prophet ﷺ said, “It is hoped that Allah may forgive every sin, except in the case of one who dies a polytheist…” (Abu Dawud) “Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray.” (Quran 4:116) 2. Taking a life unjustly “….Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely…” (Quran 5:32) 3. Consuming Interest (Riba) Allah’s Messengerﷺ cursed the accepter of interest and its payer, the one who records it as well as the two witnesses, and heﷺ said that they are all equal. (Musilm) “Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, “Trade is [just] like interest.” But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest.” (Quran 2:275) 4. Consuming the wealth of an Orphan “And do not approach the property of an orphan, except in the way that is best, until he reaches maturity.” (Quran 17:34) “Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze.” (Quran 4:10) 5. Fleeing the battlefield “O you who have believed, when you meet those who disbelieve advancing [for battle], do not turn to them your backs [in flight]. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day…has certainly returned with anger [upon him] from Allah, and his refuge is Hell - and wretched is the destination.” (Quran 8:15-16) 6. Accusing a believing woman of Adultery “And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after. And those are the defiantly disobedient,” “Except for those who repent thereafter and reform, for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran 24:4-5) 7. Practicing Sihr (Magic) And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people sihr and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, “We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing sihr].” And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the sihr would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew. (Quran 2:102) Allah’s Messengerﷺ said, “Avoid the Mubiqat, i.e., shirk and witchcraft.” (Bukhari) May Allah protect us from these sins. onepathnetwork.com/seven-major-destructive-sins-in-islam/

Need info please! my partner is doing Ramadan.. I’m always 100% supportive, never question his faith, that’s fine. But he says we can’t show any sign of affection, no touch, no kiss, nothing intimate, so forget about sex, and 24/7 🥺 he says that we can’t even after the fast ended because we’re not married. we’re not kids anymore; he’s 36/I’m 41, we’re both divorced. We live in Canada (but he’s arrived here about 15 months ago, from Algeria; I’m Canadian born and raised). I’ve experienced Ramadan with another man (my ex) 2 years ago, and that’s NOT how it was (sex/affection wasn’t forbidden at night). I don’t mind *that* much about sex, but I’m missing the affection real bad 😢 I feel distant from him..

Hi Annie. Sorry that you're having a hard time. Hope it gets easier for you ❤️ to help you understand I guess it comes to down to different levels of faith .. when you had ramadhan with your ex the fact that he was still being intimate in the evening was based on his faith level. The same way some people may choose not to practice ramadhan even though it is mandatory. The intimacy that the lecturer is talking about is reserved for married couples. In fact all intimacy islamically is reserved for married couples only. Some people choose not to follow that rule and some do. Ramadan is a time where you try to do things the right way .. ie. If I were a person who didn't usually pray at all throughout the year (which is mandatory) I'd make that effort to pray during this month. Similarly I believe your partner is trying to do the same thing in regards to intimacy in an unmarried relationship. I'd suggest to talk to him about it so he can explain his faith to you so you don't feel so alienated. Hope this helps a little ❤️

Dear you are not married??? So he used to have sex before ramadan ...??? So he is telling you less information which means he should not be touching or kissing or having sex with you at any month of year if you are not married to him because its considerd illegal and adultery please...inform yourself from some authentic islamic scholars not these non practicing muslim men you are dating.... Islam is beautiful religion and it do not allow women to be used without commient of men of helding himself responsible for her in the form of marriage and securing her future...sex without marriage leads single moms..and fatherless children and socitial chaos....
