This is only part of the Inti Raymi celebration in Cotacachi, Imbabura, Ecuador which honors the sun and harvest. Prior to this dancing, men will bathe in sacred waters , and perform other rituals. Eventually it will get violent. There will be whips, rock throwing, and blood. Sometimes even death.
