Now watching. I have a lot of respect for vgm composers their music is often overshadowed by cinema and other music.

His point about sfx is so true and I'm so glad he pointed it out. Listening to even the M&L themes on KZread it felt like something was missing, until you realize how important the attack fx and their sonic similarities are; they're specifically designed to make you engaged and feel like you're truly "playing" the game not just controllng it

This is awesome, thank you for conducting this interview! The Warioland Shake It OST is one of my favorite game soundtracks ever and it’s so cool to hear from the man who composed it

gro made the grassland theme for kirbys epic yarn and the snow level theme for wario land shake it BRO IS THE BEST!

What a coincidence. I just listened to the whole Yoshi's Wooly World OST yesterday.

THIS IS HUGE. Also go listen to Dusk Dunes. One of his best tracks.

I'm such a big fan of interviews from people who worked on Nintendo games. It's just so interesting what's happening behind the scenes and how they all felt about their own creations. Keep up the great work man! Love his work on Kirby, Yoshi and Wario!

I’m so glad that you got an interview with Tomita! Epic Yarn is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and it was such a key part of my childhood. I’ve dreamed of him doing another ost for a Nintendo game ever since his work on Woolley World

He is such a Legend! Yoshi's Wolly world's OST is AMAZING.

So I really wished I could’ve asked him why Wario Land: Shake It remixes music from Wario World specifically, cause that seemed like something that happened with some Wario related things for a couple of years.

What an interesting interview. It's a great video!

Your a hero for anyone who wants to work in the game industry or are just interested in development of games (like soundtracks and programming) as someone who is working twoards a job as a gamedesigner I can’t understate how interesting these interviews are.

Yoshi's Woolly World has one of the best and most charming soundtracks ever. He was sorely missed for Yoshi's Crafted World. What a horrid and eargrating soundtrack.

6:35 they still had liberty, what happend is that miyamoto just suggested to tone down original designs a bit, and kensuke tanabe imposed that mandate to himself and all paper mario franchise to heart hence why sticker star ended up atrocious, it's not nintendo executives, manager, director or miyamoto's fault 2:02 interesting, maybe if the stars align and a wario game is ever announced, i'm gonna put tomya tomita in my bingo card
