What the media fails to see is how the level of dedication of fans streaming does not come from requests from the artists or some orchestrated PR but from their appreciation from quality art. The lyrics are often multilayered and touch often on deep subjects despite their upbeat tempo. The performances are outstanding with live lyrics despite a challenging choreography. This is not some 'stupid fandom', it's actually a response to quality which is often missing from other contemporary singers sticking to a romantic song or some rude rap. Add there are multiple genres in BTS so their public is as varied as it goes. I see it as a challenge to the industry to deliver better quality, for which they should be applauded rather than torn down by journalists.

Since discovering bts.... im enjoying BTS talents, artistry, dancing and extra curricular activities... Im also enjoying learning about Sth Korean Culture... Same here an older 57 old not a grandmother unfortunately. Bangtan boy has helped me got through my divorce and breast cancer( which happened at the same time) during COVID-19. Love their talents and admire what they represent! Even though I was told to be too old to be Army but I just ignore those negativity. They will always Thrive!! 💜💜🫰🏼😊

Like a million other ARMYs, I am in a parasocial relationship with all BTS members. They all have endearing personalities. They show me, I show them. I often buy, listen to and watch the next few days when there is something new from them, almost nothing else, because I analyze the lyrics and enjoy the expressiveness of the MVs. All members deliver the best quality and gift their fandom with fantastic projects that include other musicians. These collaborations are extraordinary and I just enjoy listening to them. If I had any extra money since I am on ssc check, I would own everything I could of BTS they have my heart, my loyalty and I am totally proud of them. I listen to their music as my secondary music since I listen to Christian music most but I am a huge fan of their music
