Last month The Acacia Strain rolled through our local venue, Amityville Music Hall. We were fortunate enough to lock in an interview with TAS frontman Vincent Bennett, who was nice enough to stand in the cold for us. In this interview we discuss a variety of topics including, the hard ships of touring, what causes TAS to stay relevant after being a band for almost 20 years, video games, the benefits of positivity, and more. Make sure to share the video with a fellow fan, subscribe, like, comment, check back here for our weekly uploads! ENJOY!

Long time big fan of TAS and it's great to see Vincent slimmed down and healthy and like he said working on his own happiness by changing things in his life. He's held down the band for so long and his music's just getting even more devastating. Seen the band a few times live but never got chance to catch a word with him, maybe one day. Guy's a prophet.

small venue shows are the best. I love seeing bands at House of Blues here in San Diego. I've seen countless bands come through and I'm right up front. Soma in San Diego is great too. Saw TAS and Emmure there a few years back. Love the small venues!

Vincent, I hope to be positive like you are becoming. I'm 43 and more miserable than ever. Life has beat me down and left me jaded. How do I rebound from this?

Going to see them at Amityville Music Hall this Saturday. Last saw them in 2005 in Poughkeepsie. Should be fun. Looks like a small venue.

@@HeavyProfessor It really was! Between the loft, club crannell, the chance, and the civic center, Poughkeepsie was the mecca for shows and underground music. I used to go to a show (if not multiple shows) a week!

@@Paul_Fitz I saw so many great shows at the loft/chance. Morbid angel, job for a cowboy, acacia strain, darkest hour, despised icon, a life once lost, behemoth, and many more/locals. Megadeth at the Civic Center. Amazing times. Was a teenager back then. Getting rides from our parents, Westchester up to Poughkeepsie. Didn't go to shows for about 10 years after maybe 2006, started back up 2016, now maybe a couple per year but out on long island.

@@Paul_Fitz I was definitely at that BTBAM/Acacia show, as well, probably '05.
