Cherie Currie is an American singer, musician, writer, actress and artist. Currie was the lead vocalist of The Runaways, a female rock band from Los Angeles, in the mid-to-late 1970s. After The Runaways, she became a solo artist.
Currie recently played several solo shows in Europe to support her latest solo album BLVDS OF SPLENDOR. We gaught up Cherie in Oslo, Norway. This is interview is a rundown of what she had to tell us about her current career, her future plans, and her colorful past with The Runaways.

Great interview. Honest and very sad for Cherie. She didn’t deserve that treatment. Veronica, we’re you actually in the green room when Cherie gave this interview? I know you had your intimate meeting with her there, but were you in the room for this interview? Just curious. ❤️

I still stand on what I originally stated - I liked Cherie Currie UNTIL I saw this interview.
Would love to see the remaining girls live.
Cherie blows Joan Jett away.......looks, talent, vocals, stage presence etc.
You can always tell which bandmember is telling the truth. It's Cherie. Obviously.
Jett is butt hurt.

Have you seen Joan Jett lately? Limp-wristed, slow, wimpy, water-downed tripe. Have you seen Cherie Currie lately? Power, youthful, aggressive - her and her band blow Joan and the Blackhearts off the stage. I wouldn't pay to see Joan in 2023.

@@bobbijones3349 Uh...NONE of the descriptors I used were in reference to looks. They were all describing live musical performance. I dunno why you tried to throw the esthetics twist in there. Why'd you take it to the looks department when that wasn't even where my commentary was coming from???

You might want to know this but Cherie publicly announced that she’s Republican; while Joan Jett is Democrat. Which is sooo sad to see 2 individuals who were in (probably) relationship in 70s and now one of them talks sh*t/trash about them. 😢
