An intelligent, articulate, passionate woman, utterly devoid of ego. Her performance was astonishing.

She was Lisbeth. No one could even come close to Noomi Rapace's performance of Lisbeth. She should have won every Award possible for Best Actress. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was my favorite and I have watched it many times.

The Hollywood version was good but nothing stood any chance with Noomi I was surprised bankers put up money for it. Surprised that Sweden didn't continue with made up titles. Missed opportunity.

I can not relate to Roony Mara in the movie but Noomi captivated me from the beginning of the movie

Elle a du talent, et s’investit à fond dans ses rôles (qui ne lui offrent pas toujours le moyen d'exprimer ce dont elle est capable). On entend pas suffisamment parler de sa beauté dans les médias. Et, si un autre film au sujet de Joan Jett sort, il FAUT que ce soit elle qui l'interprète (même son timbre de voix semble idéal pour ce rôle)

Noomi, you probably won't ever see this post and to be honest, from watching this interview it comes to me that you would not particularly care (because of your dedication to the role), but when I saw this movie I became obsessed with your incredible talent and I watch everything you have worked on since. I am impressed and I am glad that I have discovered you. You are an incredible treat to watch and these movies were great (the 3 that you discuss in this interview), but you are talented beyond this role and I will seek out everything else you do for the rest of your career. You are a rare actor.

I just love Lisbeth. Can't wait to read the 4th book!

I still havent been able to see the film Noomi starred in called "The Girl who played with Fire".......I saw the other Dragon Tattoo film with Daniel Craig and that Oscar winning actress...

"I don't like to pretend things, I don't like to fake". I'm that way too, and I thought I could never be an actor for that reason. I'm intrigued to discover that such a gifted actress can be that way too.

I saw the film when Swedish ambassador to India had hosted the film screening at India Habitat Centre about a decade back. I enjoyed watching the film and I loved the character of Lisbeth played by Noomi. After that I also watched the American version of the film. According to me Noomi has played the role better. I was so much moved by the character and the film that I read the Millenium triology written by Steig Larson in the next few years.

Noomi is one of the most watchable sceen actors out here along with Robert Downey and Denzel Washington. I was intrigued wth her mastery of American tongue but noticed something interesting. She did an interview in 2012 about Promethes where she spoke excellent english. Then I see this interview from 2015 and she used a distince accent while speakng english. I guess that is mastery of your craft. I am sure she could have reprised her role in the Dragon Tatoo which would have been preferable .
