Interesting interview. The rare combination of talent and courage. My hats off. He is not only a talented singer, composer, music director but also a excellent writer. Thanks to Kabir Sumon for bringing the honour for bangla.

Superb interview; I have found Kabir babu to be a straight talking artist and patriot who has an extensive command of the music of Bengal, of all genres.

AAJ SOTTI BOLCHI HASCHI NA , I AM CRYING , crying for the genius , who got the recognition for BEST MUSIC DIRECTOR PRESIDENT AWARD . Because I am 52 now , and have seen the genius being dis honored during the initial days by the state audience . The person who revolutionized the BENGALI MODERN SONGS AND MUSIC was humiliated , this is the tragedy of BENGAL. I have seen this interview today on U tube as on 12/11/17 , and I am crying . I love this person , I love this person .

নানা political কারণে, so called institutional recognition উনি পাননি, কিন্তু কেউ অবহেলা করে না ওনাকে. আজকের দিনে একটা বাঙালিও নেই যে সুমনের গানের ভক্ত নয়.

Sir সালটা 1994 আপনাকে কেদার বোস লেনে একটা চিঠি পাঠিয়েছিলাম তখন আমার বয়স 16+ এবং আপনাকে প্রিয় গানওয়ালা বলে শ্রদ্ধা করেছিলাম এবং আমারও এমনও ভাগ‍্য সেই চিঠিরও উত্তর ও পেয়েছিলাম।। স‍্যার আমি সেই সুমন চাটুজ‍্যের গান কেই ভালোবাসি।।।।।

Hats off to your courage and honesty. There are very few intellectuals who actually speak their heart. And Kabir Suman is one of them. He is one of the few who does not try to fool his audience by diluted and twisted opinions. I love and adore his music and mostly his passion for music and life. Also thanks to suman de....intelligent questions as well.
