Great video!! Thanks!!
This is one of my favorites so far, and this presenter (who's name i can't spell) is quickly becoming my favorite
Another great interview very interesting stuff.
Being a fast jet pilot seems like the art of considering a million things at once, in less time than most of us take to order a cup of coffee, with "or we die" always being the other option. All while your body is under tremendous environmental stress. "Hats off to you" just doesn't seem to do it justice.

Not really different than driving a car you just have to be more aware of having a large but limited space to work in.

That was truly inspiring.
Tim....awesome guy....brilliant channel....
Speaking of that video you were showed of disasters and fatalities right before that big exercise, they showed us a video of various IED attacks, ambushes, and other things where people got injured and killed right after we got off the C-130 in Iraq. Makes quite the impression. Really puts you in a certain midset.
What a great guy. The flight school seems cool. Might give it a look.
More pls, I like Tim. I get excited hearing him talk. The stuff he talks about is amazing. I'm seriously considering joining his DCS group. Fly some Vipers around Nellis AFB.
Very insightful interview. Tim first kinda of grated with me but the more I listen the more the chap makes sense so really enjoy his insights. As he says no one will save you - the best line to shake anyone up!
Never stop commenting on life and what's happening in your country. Some things are more important than where you punch your clock. When you leave your job, you still gotta live somewhere. So, take an interest in the health of that somewhere. MORE people should be speaking out when they know things are going wrong.
Great interview! Keep fighting the good fight, Tim. Legend! Also, I think it was a Buk
Fastjetperformace is awesome!!!!!!

Tim mentions 7 squadrons of Typhoons at one point. This actually means nothing if you cannot use them. Pilot's are trained to task. So if for example they cannot bomb your out of luck for what you can use them for. I'd hate to be on 29 Sqdn.
I love his username.
52:10 interesting to see Tim has the same internal conflict that I believe all weapon and military enthusiasts run into - it would be cool to see something we've read about in action, but doing so means that people are dying in reality

You can look up the fuel capacity of aircraft on the internet. However, fuel is not water. 1 litre does not weigh 1kg. The specific gravity of A1 probably averages around .79 (depending on temperature), meaning 1 litre will weigh approx. 790 grams.

@@milesarcher. A standard 1,000-litre IBC water tank weighs on average 65 kilos when empty. Add in 1,000 litres of water, and you have a total weight of 1,065 kilos

@oxym oxym I am not sure what point you are trying to make? What I am saying is Jet A1 fuel does not weigh the same as water for a given volume. If you filled your water tank with Jet A1 it would weigh less than if you filled it with water.
