We've got to get it! And soon! The mutants are big time outgunned right now. That was my favorite LJN vehicle back in the day. I'm also very interested in the Nose-divers, particularly how they get Slithe to fit on it.

I wanted to ask Mr. Bryan a question when he plans to get a Tygra Super 7 V2 xk it has many flaws

I can't think of any other toymakers who spend so much time informing the fans about their stuff. This is super helpful and very much appreciated. Thanks to Brian for his willingness to discuss and thanks to Egmond for sharing with the rest of us! Thundercats has been my favorite Super 7 line...though I enjoy most of what they do. And, I ordered Copper Kidd as soon as he went up for preorder! Funny enough, I think he is my most anticipated Silverhawks character. I always preorder as soon as stuff goes up if it's something I can't miss out on. I know a lot of stuff has gone on sale later on, but I have to believe that will come to an end at some point. I don't pay aftermarket prices on anything, and I don't want to get left out in the cold.

I'm about 100% sure this will never happen, but it would be shockingly *AMAZING* to get a remade/updated version of Jackalman (instead of that Mattel reissue). It'd be nice for Panthro and Lion-O as well (no pins, vertically hinged wrists, etc.), but to get a pin-less, updated elbow/knee articulated, more slender Jackalman would be the cat's pajamas. But...first and foremost, we *_desperately_* need a proper Tygra. If not with two new much better looking heads, we need it for the proper skin/fur colouring, and the right elbow pad to be present - but the aforementioned stuff is more crucial. Between all that, they can't remotely stand up straight or sit in the tank, the brown stained torso, paint cracking galore...we really should have one of the definitive characters done right in the current factory. As kinda lame as the character is, they still deserve a decent figure.

Thanks! He implied that the current availability is the “overproduced” stock, but everything after that will be way more limited. Best to get those preorders in now 😉

Agree! Why take the chance. Even on BBTS that missing Tygra will cost you $195 and you'll have the rest of wave 2 with it. eBay has him solo for $170. Also I'm a big proponent of supporting the line. I'm not exactly a Captain Cracker fan and he's probably the worst figure in the series but I'll fill a pick up truck bed with him if it means getting to Claudus, Jagara, Dr. Dometome or some of the other non produced figures from the old LJN line.

Albeit I pre-ordered Copper Kidd and his Space vehicle however I hardly think it warrants $205. That's nearly the amount of a set of 4 figures normally from Super 7.

Agree! I'm thinking of ordering a second one which I don't usually do for the Hawks, just to help punch up demand but this one is pretty pricey. I'm not sure the "Spice" Racer is as good a value as the Electro-Charger either. Just not quite as sexy to me. Still, I feel like we have to support the line. I don't want it discontinued before we get a shot at Hardware, Flashback, and Melodia.

Hello Egg, I remember Brian previously saying that Super7 will now be receiving their stock before other retailers. Do you know if that is still the case? The reason I ask is because while the Reptilians seemingly arrived at Super7 before arriving at other retailers, wave 7 didn't. Wave 7 arrived at BBTS and EE first, very much like a lot of the previous waves. Being in the UK, it affects how quickly we get our stock. Basically, if the figures arrive at BBTS and EE first, it usually means that their arrival at Super7 is late. When that is the case, the UK does not receive their stock until quite a long time after these figures are seemingly out already in the US. We don't get the items until months after the people in the US get theirs and for some reason, the UK often ends up being the last place where they show up. However, with the Reptilians, it was different. They arrived here in the UK just a few days later than the US, which meant that UK retailers had them in stock at the same time as BBTS and EE. I think that was the case with most retailers worldwide who had ordered from Super7. The first people to get them were the people in the US who ordered directly from Super7, which is as it should be. It's better for everyone if that is the case each time. It means that even if you're outside the US, it doesn't feel like there is a long delay after intial release because online retailers all over the world are getting the items in stock at roughly the same time. Plus, it's cheaper to order from online retailers in your own country. It's only worth ordering from overseas and paying more for shipping if it means avoiding delays after initial release of the items. If I knew the answer to my question, I would know which pre-order to stick with and which to cancel. I have one for Hachiman that I originally made with a UK retailer but because wave 7 is late over here, I put a pre-order in for him on BBTS also, just in case they get him first. It would mean avoiding yet another delay. We already wait a long time but the wait is not that bad when you get the items pretty soon after they first appear to have come out. It's the extended period of waiting after that which is the killer and that has often been the case for people outside of the US. Sometimes you don't know how much longer it's going to be. At least before that, we have a time-frame because Super7 gives us one, but that is for the US. Outside of the US, we don't know if we're getting the items very soon after or quite a while after. Wave 5 of Thundercats Ultimates didn't drop in the UK until December 2022. In the US, people were getting Wave 5 from online retailers around August/September time. An extra 3 to 4 months after original release is quite the gap, which is frustrating. It shouldn't really be a thing in this day and age. I'm not blaming Super7 at all, I'm blaming whoever is responsible for not getting the items to Super7 first. When the items arrive at Super7 first, the process of making sure that everyone gets their items pretty soon after initial release runs a lot more smoothly and seems to be successful in doing just that. People all over the world should be getting their items at roughly the same time and I believe that Super7 wants that because that is exactly what happened with the Reptilians. I put that down to the fact that for once, Super7 received the items first, which is how it's supposed to be.

Hi! If I recall correctly that statement was made when the first Super Pack was revealed. I think TC was maybe 2nd or 3rd to have one, and that was with W9. So until that gets shipped the only official connection is likely that W9 would be shipped first from S7. Brian did say their shipping is faster lately which is correct so items like the Reptilians and such did reach them faster, which is likely tied to shipping logistics, with other retailers containers probably being full and S7’s still had room for theirs because they know the factory completion date to the minute. Brian did explain before why the tank got out first etc, so I do think things have turned the other way and from May we’ll see S7 get theirs first in terms of W9. I hope that makes sense!

@@wewantmorethundercats Ah ok. So that would mean there is a question mark over wave 8. Having said that, waves 8 & 9 are due roughly around the same time. I think that wave 9 may have moved slightly ahead of wave 8 so I don't know if that means the same rule will apply to both waves in regards to Super7 getting their stock first. I would be confident that it will be the case for wave 9 given that it includes their first super pack. I just wonder if wave 8 will follow suit. If they somehow received both waves at the same time, that would be even better.

Thanks for the interview. I love to Japanese soft vinyl and would love to see ThunderCats and SilverHawks in a 12-20 Dollar value.

Great video! I have to say that while I don't mind the slipcases going away, the mailer boxes really made a difference in protecting the packaging when it's sent from retailers, and also made it easy to store away, as I'm one of those collectors who opens most of them but keeps the boxes. It's too bad they packaging will be at greater risk of getting roughed up in transit now.

Hi Andrew! Not sure where you purchase from, but I’ve gotten the latest “unboxed” wave from both BBTS and EE and shipped internationally without any issues. Even my S7 gitd Cheetara without slipcover or box arrived in South Africa without any concerns. Hope that those you buy from use the same boxing but I’m very at ease with what BBTS, EE and S7 did!

I want to know when King Conan is going to ship literally zero news on this figure if you can find out that would be great

One of my major frustrations with Super7 has actually been the amount of waste that comes from the packaging. So I'm very happy they're reducing that amount of stuff.

There’s been another delay for W9 by a couple of weeks only from late May to mid June, but W8 stays strong at late May. Keep an eye in the S7 website for info on all preorder statuses.

It's going to be tough to top last year's SDCC! If it is a ghost Grune, then he needs to be fighting a new ghost Jaga and they need to be about 3 feet tall! I'd like to see the Rat-Star or maybe castle Plun-dar but at this point really I'm good with whatever. Just don't stop. We want more Thundercats!!!

That was a great heads up question on the 40th anniversary that's coming up in 10 months and I don't think Brian had considered it yet. Doesn't it have to be a limited edition coronation Lion-O?!?! That shouldn't be too tough to pull off in under a year. There wouldn't be a lot of tooling: a crown, a cape, a multi-insignia belt and new packaging. If they wanted to go crazy they could throw in a sword effect. They might also do 40 year versions of all core cats figures with red eyes and glow in the dark insignias--just simple repaints. Die harders would line up to buy 2 of each (ask me how I know) and it would also give the sleepers and late comers a fresh shot at new versions of sold out early characters. (Come get your Tygra that you missed out on--oh, look he's got an elbow pad now). For Mumm-ra they could just do a 2 pack with pre and post transformation figures and minor repaints. Throw in a sarcophagus maybe. There are some low effort possibilities. Just look at what Mattel does with MOTU.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still in it for new characters but if the man needs to do some repaints to make his money and beat out some deadlines I can deal with it. The main thing is "we want more Thundercats"!
