AL ULA, Saudi Arabia, 1st February, 2020 -- His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, attended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup, held in Al-Ula Governorate in Saudi Arabia.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid cheered on as the Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum galloped to victory, finishing in 04:35:13 hours. In the second place came MRM Stables’ Saif Al Mazrouei followed by F3 Stables’ Saeed Al Harbi.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup is considered one of the most important events on the horse endurance race calendar in the world. More than 200 riders representing 17 countries took part in the event.
The event was attended by Prince Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia; Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia; Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai; and Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, CEO of Meydan Group.

وشهد صاحب السمو نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي تتويج الفارس سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي بطلاً لكأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين للقدرة والتحمّل ممتطيا صهوة الفرس "عطوفة دى لاب" لإسطبلات اف ٣مسجلاً زمناً وقدره ٤.٣٥.١٣ ساعات، واحتل المركز الثاني الفارس سيف احمد المزروعي على صهوة الجواد "رازورباك ميكانو" لإسطبلات ام ار ام مسجلاً زمناً وقدره ٤.٣٥.١٣ ساعات، واحتل المركز الثالث الفارس سعيد احمد جابر الحربي على صهوة الجواد "الهمبرة لطيف" لإسطبلات اف ٣، مسجلاً زمنا قدره ٤.٣٥١٤ ساعات.
وكان صاحب السمو نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي قد تابع مشاركة فرسان الامارات بقيادة الفارس سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد ال مكتوم ولي عهد دبي ، في البطولة التي تعد واحدة من أهم وأغلى البطولات على مستوى العالم والشرق الأوسط وشمالي إفريقيا وتقام للعام الثاني على التوالي بتنظيم من الهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العُلا وبالتعاون مع الاتحاد السعودي للفروسية ولمسافة 120 كم وتحت شعار «ملتقى الفرسان» .
وقد شارك في البطولة أكثر من 200 فارس يمثلون 17 دولة، وهي الامارات والمملكة العربية السعودية، ومملكة البحرين، والكويت والأردن ومصر وألمانيا وفرنسا وبلجيكا وإيطاليا والصين وباكستان والبرتغال وسلوفاكيا والسودان وتونس والأوروغواي.
