I love watching Kevin McGarry movies. Kevin is a very nice guy to watch he plays in lots of movies he is a very good actor to be playing. I hope to see more from Kevin.

This video just came up in my news feed, and I have to say you did an excellent interview with Kevin. He is one of the sweetest guys ever! I've always enjoyed his movies and now they will be extra special to me, now that I've watched this interview and have learned a little more about him.

Heartland, Netflix. He is Starts in season 14 I believe

We had two 11 year old children from Northern Ireland spend 6 weeks with us one summer in the early 1990s. They were great fun and we enjoyed them so much...a boy and a girl. Their accents were adorable.

Kevin is a fine actor, and I've enjoyed his movies, but he is especially good in his role as Nathan Grant on WCTH. Great chat! Kevin is a skilled conversationalist, and seems like a real likeable person.

I hope Kevin gets to do the trip he wants. My husband and I have traveled from England through Scotland, took the ferry to Ireland. Toured Ireland and came back through Wales (saw Sean Connery up close). On another trip we did both northern and southern Ireland. Beautiful places.

Love the interview, very light and enjoyable. Near the end when he mentioned the Blue Jay ice cream, it took me back to my childhood. I had forgotten about that flavour. The blue was cotton candy flavoured ice cream and the white was marshmallow. It was great. My family owned a variety store in a small town in Southwestern Ontario where we offered scooped ice cream. Whenever we had that flavour in the freezer, we couldn't keep it in stock. Thank you for the memory! Again, great interview and so nice to get to know some fantastic Canadian actors.

He would be awesome in a comedy. I was happy to hear him say he enjoyed them or RomCom. He has the Dick Van Dyke /John Ritter style! I guess that’s why I love the scenes he and Jack Wagner are in! Kevin can bring the character to life without words!

Great interview! Love everything you've been in Kevin! Would love to see Kevin and Kayla do a destination movie. When you visit Italy Kevin be sure and see Malta and Capri. I lived in Sicily in 1976. So many beautiful things to see! My Grandmother McBride's family were from Ireland :)

Kevin is such a great conversationalist.

I love this guy! At 13 minutes, in podcast, the accent was strong in the movie. I chalked up the strong accent to nerves. When speaking to a crowd, he could be nervous. Lol.

I have to tell you, Nathan was much more suited for Elizabeth than Lucas with his aloof flashy stlye. Nathan is more tender hearted and genuine ❤️. Kevin, you are the best!

I love Kevin and everything he is in, loved the interview and interviewer, but nothing will convince me to watch WCTH again. I will never watch a Kevin and Erin movie. I think the timing of the i’view was done on purpose and it was also a calculated move to combine an interview about The Wedding Veil (would have made more sense having Kevin and Lacey for the whole hour) with the promo for WCTH Season 9 airing early March.

You are absolutely right...this was strategic timing for an interview. Have you noticed that there have been ZERO group interviews from When Calls the Heart actors after the season 8 finale (with the exception of the one interview right after the finale with Chris McNally, Kevin McGarry and Erin Krakow...the night of the season 8 finale)? That's because the dynamic on WCTH after season eight has completely changed for the worse. The producers/execs/writers know it, but are pretending that the tension and awkwardness do not exist. They are fooling themselves. The tension absolutely exists but the producers/exes/writers are trying to still do extra damage control and so they have to coach the actors to really sell it in the promotional videos for season nine. They are absolutely desperate and fearful that they will lose viewership in season nine and rest assured they will lose viewership in season nine. It's going to be a HUGE drop! Have you watched any of the WCTH season 9 promos? They are disgusting to watch. Forced enthusiasm and subtly delivered and desperate pleas to people to keep watching WCTH in season nine, because it is the "best season yet." What lies and absolute rubbish! Kevin McGarry is just an overall jolly fellow and it shows. He's comfortable in his own skin. Erin Krakow is an absolute fake smiling fraud and a bully and Chris McNally is a fake too. Next! Lacey Chabert though...is genuine and truly sincerely sweet. She's 360 degrees real, unlike the phony Krakow.

In past interviews...you could catch glimpses of her jealousy but she tries to brush it off and keep it hidden. Nope...sweet tart Krakow...we see you for the toothy smiling deceiver that you are. And an overinflated ego on the lass to match her Erin Krakow fakeness.

I don’t think they would ever team Kevin and Erin in a movie it would show how wrong the choice on WCTH was. Truthfully I can’t support Erin in anything she does for many reasons. This interview shows what a warm wonderful person he is. He is bright articulate funny and outgoing.🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️

Erin is just fakeness personified and wholly jealous that Kevin steals the spotlight without even trying. Kevin is so effortlessly charming because he likes people and understands them. Kevin has charm in spades. And by charm I mean he is a genuinely pleasant, funny, easy going, salt of the earth kind of man. And your emojis -- say it all -- the man is both gorgeous and adorable! Hotness and cuteness all at once!

Honestly I didn't mind the accent. But if the whole movie was set in Boston, why was his character the only one with an accent? THAT was what stood out to me. He was the only one.

Great interview, Kevin! Love Nathan and all the characters and hundred percent agree... nothing like WCTH on TV and time to stop the ugly hate about the actors and writers! Soooo excited for Season 9!

Loved the interview, but as a Kevin/Nathan fan, I would not watch anything with Nathan/E or Kevin/E. Kevin paired with anyone else in any other show/movie I would (and do) watch over and over. WCTH - never again.

No, NOT with Erin. I would much rather see Kevin McGarry in a film with Mallory Jansen. She is so beautiful, talented, and has sparkling charisma for days! Mallory Jansen would bring it! I can already see and feel their on-screen connection. Plus, Mallory could play Italian, and look and speak her part with a perfect Italian accent. To film in a country as beautiful, and soulful as Italy, would call for a female lead to match. Erin Krakow is not that person.

Oh my!!! I would LOVE a Kevin. & Erin movie!!! For now, after watching this, I’m kind of excited about what season 9 holds for Nathan.

Kevin and Erin definitely act well as scene partners. From a casting director's point of view, I love watching how they feed off each other, anticipate what the other is going to do/say and respond naturally to one another. I bet their improv would be phenomenal! In real life, they probably know how to "push each other's buttons" and that is how they get such organic responses out of each other.🤣 Sadly, a movie together at this particular time would not do as well as it would have before s8. Depending upon how they wrote their characters s9, it could possibly do well? They are definitely equals when it comes to their acting together and a true joy to watch on-screen.

I love all the characters on WCTH...I have high hopes for Kevin/Nathan moving forward because I just know that he is going to have a great story in S9 and beyond. I'm looking forward to S9 and returning to Hope Valley and this amazing show!!!

Sorry honey i wont be as ... I cannot stomach E & L together AT ALL as it looks un natural & untrue no matter what the writers & actors Ek & CM try show elizabeths character belongs with nathan POINT BLANK.. & his job isnt his life ALLIE IS POINT BLANK.

By the way, MAC is Scottish, MC is Irish.

Not necessarily, half of our family is Mac and half Mc, came from Scotland as Mac, then in the 1800's my great grandfather and brothers had a feud and some changed their name to Mc. A lot of Mc's may be Irish but my point is that you just can't tell by the spelling, have to do the genealogy 🥰

Loved to see Kevin & Erin in a movie together that could get fans to heal from producer's choice or writer to choose Lucas in When calls the Heart ❤️

Definitely not with E. I think the producers, TPTB are all well aware that that would be a financial disaster. Most Kevin fans will not watch anything that has them together no matter how much they love Kevin.

This started out slow and I almost stopped listening. But, so glad I didn't give up. I was so heartbroken over Erin picking a Bar owner over a Police enforcer, I had no intentions of coming back to WCTH. But watching Kevin on Hallmark movies, I couldn't get enough of his charm and sense of humor. I think now why I was so upset with Erin on WCTH, is I thought, if she picked Lucas, Nathan wouldn't get a big enough part for my interest. So, I may give WCTH this season a chance to see how Nathan/Kevin fits in. And I noticed another comment below who mentioned Mallory Jansen. They would make a good team in movies or WCTH. Wasn't Kevin dating a WCTH actress during covid. She came on with the telephone. If they are still dating they'd make cute couple on WCTH. If not still dating, that could be weird?
