I've been a fan of the Osmond brothers since 1970-71..the beginning of Osmania! I had a crush on Donny. I love the Osmonds..they're such a talented family.They are so down to earth and they all have a great sense of humor! They had me laughing..I really enjoyed this interview..I will prob watch this again.

I went to Jimmy's theatre in Branson. I saw them in concert. I talked to them after the show. and Talked to Merrill in the gift shop.. they are so down to earth, and never let the fame get to them. I have seen Donny and Marie in concert a few times. Awesome family.

Never seen their show in Branson, MO. But I did see the OSMONDS at the Missouri State Fair in August 19__.

The Osmond's are a much loved and a much-admired family plus they've worked so hard to get where they are and they deserve all the love, all the adoration, all the admiration they've gotten, they still get, and will continue to get as years go by!

Merrill Osmond, God bless you for saying what you said about yourself and your siblings!!😍😘😍😘😍😘

I love how Jimmy took over the interviewers job and even asked toward the end, "any last questions?" LOL. Love the Osmonds so much, and hope Jimmy is doing OK.

I'm sure the Osmonds are an interviewer's dream. They keep the conversation flowing and keep it interesting. I've always loved the Osmonds. I am younger than Donny, older than Jimmy, but had a childhood crush on Merrill. :)

You sound like me. I am 62. Donny is 63 now. Merrill was my heart throb. I cried for weeks when he announced his engagement. I met Merrill once. He is such a gentle soul. I also met Alan and Jay while they were in Alan's car behind Caesar's palace. But before I met Alan and Jay on that same night I met Mr and Mrs Osmond after talking to Tommy almost all through the Osmond's show. We were reading each others lips. We started off signing to each other. After the Show when we were leaving we got stopped by the guards letting the family getting out from their table. See our Table was right in front of theirs. So I was stopped on the sidelines. They (Tommy, Virl and their wives) were to my far right. Mrs. Olive Osmond was on my left. I said hello and she held my hand and said oh hello. Mr. George Osmond came over and started yelling for Tommy and Virl to come and hurry it up. He yelled right in my ear. Mrs. Osmond still holding my hand said to George that he yelled in my ear. He apologized but did it again. You see Tommy's wife was pregnant. So George being a Grandpa soon didn't want anything to happen to her. One of my sisters behind me had all of our letters in her hand. She gave them to me to give to Mrs. Osmond. So when I handed them to her she smiled and said thank you. She finally let go hand and went with the rest of the family. Tommy reached out to me too. I will never forget those experiences I had. The time I met Merrill was in the green grassy area. They were all sitting down. Jimmy was being Jimmy. Lol. Alan pushed him down in his seat. Lol. Merrill came to the hedge were I was. I handed him my program to sign. The Gaurd came over and told us he couldn't sign any more autographs. I turned to walk away. I remembered my program so Merrill handed that to me. I also had given him my lavender pencil I had. But I couldn't retrieve that. Merrill held it up and I waved and said keep it. They are all such gentle people.

You too? That's totally cool!!! When I met Donny I told him. Merrill is my favorite & he huge me anyway. The funny thing is the only record I had with Merrill singing was the 45 "Down By the Lazy River" but I had a poster of Donny on the back of my bedroom door & his 1st album. My friend Marnie gave my Donny's album for my 10th birthday & then Marie's "Paper Roses" album on my 11th birthday. I STILL have ALL of my records from my childhood including my parent's 78's from the 30's & 40's. Thank you for taking the time to read my post & may you have a blessed day, MsCindy

Angie, I too am closer to Jimmy's age but my crush has always been with Merrill.

love the Osmond always have, they are so.............down to earth, fun and very humble sweet and kind, I wish these new artist take a few lesson from the OSMOND be nice they lost a lot of money, people took advantage of them you never see them disrespect any of their fans, they have a lot of class, love the way they love their faith, they are so................clean cut, still love the way they handle themselves and Jimmy is right they can sing all kinds of music love watching this video thank you The Velvet Rope.

This family is such a great example of humility, grace and what family is about. "To whom much is given, much is required". They've embraced that principle in such a huge way. It just goes to show how important the family foundation is. It affects people for an entire lifetime.

Great interview!! 2nd watch.They are such down to earth people..they all have a great sense of humor! And of course so talented. I thought it was so funny when Merrill had the mic and was waiting very patiently to talk..but they kept talking..and Merrill nicely said 'shut up'..😂 when he told Jimmy 'shush'..and then said he's going to do Moses! 😂 Merrill is quiet, but when he chimes in he is very funny! I enjoyed this interview tremendously. Love these guys! It's just unfortunate that Alan, Wayne and Donny were not able to be there.

I agree with Merrill. The up and coming entertainers today need to be grounded and need a support group.

I've met these gentlemen and they are truly what they profess to be. They are amazingly kind and interested in their fans. They even recognize us when they see us in the audience multiple times. They are also generous to a fault! Merrill once paid for our dinners at a restaurant one evening and invited us to visit with him and Mary at their table after doing a show, even though he was exhausted. I will always cherish that time and have so much respect for them as individuals and talented musicians. Ha ha! Jimmy just said they recognize the repeat fans in the audience which I had already typed in my comment!! (I just had to add this!)

This is the most fun interview I ever saw of the brothers, just went to the OIAl in London and as usual they stole the crowd ! My husband came with me and it's true he sings along with all of the songs and he enjoyed himself a lot ! He is amazed that the Osmonds are such a talented group who sings "accapella" like the best. Well... they are the BEST and they proof it each and every time.

I still have my candy canes thrown out by Merrill at one of their Christmas shows! They always put on a good show and spend time with us before and after the shows. A lovely family!

Fun interview Adam. The one mic technique kept my attention as did Merrill, Jay & Jimmy Osmond. Good job.

I was 9 in love with 19 year-old Jay and would spend hours trying to calculate in my brain how to look 14 so that he might date me. Not sure why I thought 14 was the magic number but I'm rekindling my Jay crush watching all these videos of him I never knew existed. Great interview! Thank you.

Merrill is the real inspiration of this group.

I went to this show with the other artists , bloody fantastic!

This is my second time watching this interview, Merrill is so............ funning I am cracking up how he took the mic from Jimmy and miss pronoun a word and start singing his ABC, they are so down to earth ,I really love this family , Jimmy is 100%right how some celebrities treat their fans, the Osmond and the Jackson five arevery humble family stay sweet guys.

Merrill D. Osmond, you and your brothers (your sister, too) really should consider building, and managing, an "assisted living" complex. As popular as you all are, the rooms would get filled in nothing flat and have a waiting list about 10 miles long!

Thank heavens none of the Osmond's ever learned to "Put a sock on it"!

1 thing the Osmond's taught me, and quite possibly many other people too, and that isI've got better things to do with my time than to indulge in drugs or booze!

Gosh I feel old. I was at Heathrow Airport when The Osmonds landed in 1976 - I was right there when the wall fell. I got to one of the concerts they played - mania barely covers it! I don't get when stars get "too big" for their fans either - without them there would BE no career. The Osmonds have always been "real" people.

What happened to the sound?

Merrill & Jimmy both guys got married before reaching age 26, they were safe from becoming a menace to society. Now Jay, on the other hand, because he took his own sweet time getting married, Jay came perilously close being a menace. MAN!! That is 1 guy who owes his wife BIG TIME!!

Jimmy is 50 or 51 years old, the youngest. The other 8 are between 60-75 years old

Interviewer got on my nerves, I nearly switched off, Merrill was looking rather bored at times.

A message to all the performing Osmond's: I sincerely hope none of you ever learn how to zip it (another way of saying "shut up")!!

"Let's talk about whatever you're promoting, get that out of the way, then what, you're doing some kind of 'show'.. to pay for your motel rooms?" Jeez, I woulda walked out of that interview.

I love them all but I feel like they don't treat Jay right most of the time... And why don't they each have microphones? 🤔

anyone who can say Les Mckeon and Leo sayer were friends.. are angels on earth.. because those 2 were/are awful people..

Not sure how Jimmy can speak on some of this. He was a small child when his brothers were huge.

Marie Osmond, Where you & opera are concerned, put a sock on it! Also, I sincerely hope your voice coach trains you to avoid high notes!

I don't know what it is, but I don't care for Jimmy. I love Jay and Merrill. Jimmy acts like it's all about him. He wasn't even an original Osmond brother.

Jimmy , is the reason the Family had the reunion in 2008. They lost everything due to trusting the wrong people. Jimmy, has great business accumin and saved the family. As the youngest, he was exposed to alot more opportunities in the industry. Jimmy is very loved overseas, especially in Japan (voice overs for cartoons and records in Japanese), and the U.K.! Its because of him they still perform today as The Osmond Brothers.

Jimmy is very controlling isn't he

You guys acapella perfect but when it comes to solos your dredful. Donny sings great solo and you should let him be the soloist but the rest of you should be behind the scenes.
