I never used to like Gene but he’s been gradually growing on me and I wish him well and hope he does himself and his family proud by keeping on the right track x

I always thought Gene should have just done his own thing right outta' the gate - no Johnny And Gene Show, no John Alite collaboration/cosigning. Alite is a proven pathological liar and sociopath - and just all around lowlife and POS. Being around and/or next to him does NO FAVORS for Gene - let alone any/everyone else. Gene, regardless of my opinion of him, whether for cooperating or anything else in particular - can stand on his own with his own history and story. He doesn't need a partner or someone to carry him - let alone John Alite.

Gene, I've been a critic in the past, but at least you own what you did. These other rats make excuses and, come up with elaborate stories on why they did it. I can tell you have that uncontrollable Italian temper and you're an emotional guy. If someone pisses you off, you snap. If someone does you right, you always remember it. You've clearly never been that addict on the street and a few things you should know, you are not any better than them and it could very easily be you one day! Yeah I know you feel like you are better than a junkie! Those junkies are human beings and because you feel like you're better than them and look down on them makes you a piece of shit! They are trapped in a cycle outta their control orchestrated by pharmaceutical companies that led them to drugs imported by cartels. Honestly i like the new Gene, not sure if it was because of how you interviewed him or he respects you but even the way he speaks now seems more sincere and real not a character still trying to play a roll…i liked genes stories but the way he is in this interview just elevated him in my opinion

Lee the biggest mistake John Gotti did was,not taking gravano out when John realised that gravano was killing for greed, that’s my opinion on Gotti’s biggest mistake, if he had taken gravano as you well know things might’ve been different, gravano was making people his business partner and then whacking them and towards the end John realised it was down to greed, he should’ve took gravano out but he didn’t, and we all know what that cost him.

I'm happy things did not turn out for the worse in court for Gene. There are some crimes that require incarceration but I'm not a proponent of jailing people for every slight infraction even if on probation. Gene has some good qualities but also like many of us some character flaws too. So, I acknowledge he has left behind some victims in his crimes and they know him by those flaws of his. Evil results from our sins. Sin a lesser good x degrees from what is proper and ideal, what is right. Evil being the effects and affects that are destructive and cause sufferings, from tornados to home invasions. That was my preface to this. I can and do appreciate Gene's loyalty to his friend Hootie by defending him in this interview. But Hootie has been high on camera, a downer like heroin or some opioid. I have worked 2 physically laborious jobs in the past--albeit I was in my 20s then--and I never looked and cognitively functioned like that. Now, on the off chance I am wrong, Hootie for the sake of his health might consider giving up 1 of those jobs if his current financial life can afford that. But I'm thinking my conclusion that Hootie was high was correct.
