I didn't know the Catskills Mountains had a soundtrack, but you found. So zen, so chill, so full of movement and perfect energy that matches the cadence of the hills. Other youtubers with wailing guitars, obnoxious vocals and classic rock should take note. As always, absolute perfection in musical choice. (not to mention such a gem of vid, always wondered what this part of non-I86 looked like!) ALSO: Happy Canada Day! :)

I was doing this drive yesterday coming from my brother getting his student housing set up. Beautiful drive, but you gotta be careful with the twists & turns.

What a beautiful part of the world. Always wanted to see some footage from this part of New York. I’ve wanted to make it back down that way myself, and might actually get the chance this year maybe. Very low traffic as well. Amazing colour and nice work on the video overall! On another note, I’m planning a little trip to Sault Ste. Marie next weekend. The plan is to come back through Michigan and hopefully record a bunch of footage in Detroit finally. Hoping the weather forecast turns out good, otherwise I might have to postpone.

I've driven I-75 a couple of times through Michigan. It's a fairly unremarkable, aside from the Might Mack Bridge which is very cool. That said, I have always found it to be pleasant. Detroit I like however. I always have fun driving through Detroit. Just keep in mind sometimes they have freeway closures on the weekends there. I doubt it'll be a problem for you, it's not all that common, but I would check before you go. I-94 is slowly being reconstructed with new bridges, so I'd keep my eye out for that. Have fun.

I'm always happy when people acknowledge that there is more to appreciate in NY state than just the City. As a lifelong NYer i fully agree with you :)

OMG MY FAVORITE!!!! #NYS17 #86I Long time ago, there used to at grade intersections and seasonal motels and camps. It's a cute road imho, even the bridges have a rustic feel to them with the railing so close, very rural.....You may have noticed, we love delineators.....

I honestly didn't expect this video to come out a day early, but NY-17 is certainly one of New York's most scenic route. The Appalachian hills are definitely a great place to drive, especially during fall. Also, have youy heard of a huge Tornado that hit west of Montreal, it hits notably the towns of Très-Saint-Rédempteur & Rigaud. Several houses were seriously damaged, like some roofs ripped out, but fortunately, nobody got injured.

I saw a video of the tornado online. Looked pretty crazy, it was lucky that nobody got hurt.

Great drive! What is your nearest E-ZPass state(s) from where you live? My nearest E-ZPass states from where I live here in Tennessee is Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia state, and North Carolina.
