  • @RMR1

    3 күн бұрын

@@roninkraut6873 You're correct, he does have rights -- and the police have not violated any of them. What do they say or do that you think is unconstitutional? When Hillman asks for an attorney, they stop the interrogation. HE'S the one that keeps talking to them and asking them questions. And straight away, one of the detectives reminds him that he has invoked his Fifth Amendment rights -- he says, "You've asked for an attorney so I can't ask you anything. If you want to talk to me without one, we can talk, but if you want an attorney, that's fine." And they literally repeat that, or something to that effect, several more times when he keeps trying to talk to them about the case. I don't see how that is "trying to get him to say he doesn't want an attorney."

On the phone the parents were calm and had zero reaction to the fact that their son just beat a man into a coma with his bare hands (before he succumbed to his injuries). He never asked the cops how the victim was, and neither his parents, friends, gf, ever once showed any concern, told him it was wrong, that it was serious...nothing. Coming from a parents point of view. I was raised with a strict father, loving mother and strong boundaries to always show respect and work hard. When I had my son I raised him the same way. When I divorced his father when he was young, his father did everything opposite that I did. Tried to be his son’s friend, gave him $ he didn’t earn, spoiled him, gave him drugs, etc. Basically destroying everything that I tried to teach my son. The drugs won over. My son went from an A student, caring respectful young man to a bipolar guy that his dad feeds with drugs. He’s now incapable of attending school working, etc. as he also went psychotic. No matter how hard I fought, doctors, courts, etc. the father managed to ruin his life.

And old ass people fail to take any accountability for raising their kids poorly and instead blame genetics or their friends. He clearly got what he wanted, and the minute he didn't, he screamed so they gave in to quiet him. To the point that when anyone even tries to cross him, he goes off. He was enabled to behave that way. I would be so ashamed and embarrassed if my son was walking around talking like that. They don't care. Because they neglected him.

This! Choose your battles. Road rage isn’t a battle I would choose. People are highly unhinged these days (idk how old this case is; I missed the date of it was said). But people are incredibly unhinged in current times. I followed that Apple River stabbing trial and things could’ve been had everyone involved walked away at the beginning. Not worth it. CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES!

He testified against his friend and confessed that Christian didn’t seem to have acted in self-defense. Noah also claimed that the suspect had texted him a few days prior about getting their stories straight before the authorities questioned him.

Common misconception... Asking for an attorney doesn't mean you're entitled to immediately see one. It just means questioning will stop until one is present. If they still have enough on you to keep you detained at this time then you will be.
