I was in bible college and a couple from the Ukraine were leaving to go back home. Our teachers asked a few of us to gather around them and pray or prophesy as the Lord led us. Everyone there besides me had such great prophetic words and blessings to share with a couple. But when it was my turn I had absolutely nothing I couldn't think of anything to say so I just started praying loudly in tongues. Well as it turns out I was speaking in Russian and had no idea! And they happened to speak Russian and they later became missionaries to Russia shortly after that!

I just found this brother. I’ve been watching his videos about 3 day. He is awesome. Glory to God. God bless this ministry

Discovered him about 16 years ago through Benny Hinn....when Benny Hinn referred to him in his preaching as the best bible teacher and sincerely speaking....He was and still is right making thay statement.....He was and still in my opinion the best bible teacher ever that i have ever known and i have been born again for about 27 years!

Derick Prince teachings and prayers are timeless. Quite recently, I had the urge to sing a song but I didn’t know the lyrics. Throughout the day, something deep inside me keeps urging me to sing the song. The hymn is from Methodiat hymn book so I called a friend and got the lyrics. It goes as this; I need you every hour, most Gracious God. I realized it was my spirit yearning for God. It dawned on me to read the Bible and pray everyday to get closer to God. From that day I get Devine attention to my prayers. Thank you God for drawing me closer to you when I was going astray: in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen 🙏

Whatever you ask In Jesus name , have no doubt and you will receive it. If the devil tries to tell you that you didn't receive it, and tries to make you think that you're still hurting by causing you pain, tell the devil he is a liar that you received your healing! And continue to believe that you have been healed and YOU WILL BE! it's all about your faith in Christ. Even if the devil continues to tell you that you're in pain by causing you pain, be vigilant and fight him and keep telling him he is a liar and By Jesus' stripes you are healed! Fight him with Spirit and Word! you may have received your healing by now but just keep this in mind anytime you need healing or deliverance from something not of God.

Love his teaching truly from God. His video came up under video I had finished it was late Dec 2019 or very first of January 2020. And did not know who he was but Holy Spirit said listen (strong impression came over me so I did). Praise God I did obey and listen so blessed. 49:50 'When I get a prophecy I usually get just the first sentence. Now if I sit there and think, “I wonder what I am going to say after that”, I get no more. Because without faith it is impossible to please God. But if I give the first sentence then the rest follows.' This is my experience also. This is one of the problems with the procedure adopted in many churches that if you have a prophetic word then you have to share it with the pastor or elders first to get the OK from them. The holy scripture says (1 Corinthians 14:29, NASB) 'Have two or three prophets speak, and have the others pass judgment.' Who are the others? Probably the other prophets, or it could be the other brethren. But not just the pastor and/or elders in particular. And the prophecy is to be judged and weighed after it has been delivered, not before. Let the prophets speak, we need to hear what they have to say from the Lord Jesus, our Saviour and Redeemer and the mighty and holy Head of His church, His body.

Be careful of whom you let lay hands on you. Many Charismatic Christians operate in a spirit. That IS NOT the Holy Spirit. IMPARTATION through laying on of hands can get someone to receive. The demons and sins in the person that lays hands on them.

Yes be very careful and ask God for wisdom if or when people pray for you and lay hands on you. Go to reputable people and "good" churches. Look for fruit they are bearing in their life and ministry Study Derek on the laying on of hands a foundational doctrinal teaching. You can also get a concordance and look up the laying on of hands throughout scripture. This will give you a correct biblical understanding

I will start off by saying that there is a style of preaching that puts gifts in the service of the gospel, and there is a style of preaching that puts gifts in the place of the gospel. Though we may disagree here or there on a couple of minor issues, I do believe you fall in to the former category. Whatever one thinks of gifts, they must be understood as implements to building the kingdom of God. So good on you for that correct orientation. However, I am incurably pedantic so allow for some mild push back on the distribution of gifts. Paul's wishes are not tantamount to declarations. He is simply imagining a best case scenario. Yet, he acknowledges that not all may freely partake of any gift they want. For instance, speaking about his celibacy Paul wishes all were as he while acknowledging that each has their own calling. Some are called to the bliss of matrimony. 1 Corinthians 7:7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. It is in this same spirit that Paul WOULD that all spoke with tongues. This is a desire that he later reveals is not realistic in 1 Corinthians 12 where he rattles off a bunch of rhetorical questions. 1 Corinthians 12:37-30 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? So when Paul offers up his dream world, it is not really a, "Thus saith the Lord, " more than it is a, "Wouldn't it be nice." 1 Corinthians 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. It is my contention that this type of thing can not be trained. However, I do not chide against any who train. I only ask one question. Who trained the apostles and those that assembled with them on the FIRST day of Pentecost? Was it not a spontaneous reaction to the spirit? For me a gift is like a sneeze for a yawn. You can stifle it, but when enough fatigue or agitation in the nostril accumulates, the momentum makes it easy and desirable to agree. Now I will eat a little crow and say that the unintelligible tongue may be angelic in nature. Paul speaks about the tongue of angels, albeit in a seemingly hyperbolic way. 1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. To me, this seems like saying your wife takes a million years in the bathroom or saying the neighbor kids were raised by wolves. The bible is often punctuated with all types of exaggerated speech. Consider the camel going through the eye of a needle. However, I can not find this flavor of speaking in 1 Corinthians 14. 1 Corinthians 14:2=3 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. Try as I may, and trust me I have tried, 1 Corinthians 14 does not smack of sarcasm. Everything about it is matter of fact. So I must leave room for an unintelligible non-human language. Having said that, I don't endorse silliness in the things of God, nor do I think Paul was content with that perception. I think that is why he kept clamoring for interpretation. which is a stronger case for the tongue being non-human. If it were simply another language, then others could pick it up. If I hear Chinese, Spanish, French, or Arabic, I don't think the speakers are nuts. I can identify sounds and rhythms while not picking up the meaning. So this makes me believe is might be a divine language. Having said that, I am super unimpressed when someone cries out and babbles. To me is would be like someone laughing at their own private joke in public that they are not willing to share. If that is the case, I am not willing to care.

I believe that Jesus Christ then rose from the dead on the third day to give all of us eternal life. Lord Jesus: I now confess to You all of the wrong and sinful things that I have EVER done in my life (Past/Present/Future) Lord Jesus, I ask that You please forgive me and wash away all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on the cross. Also Lord HELP ME TO FORGIVE MYSELF, and others, I am now ready to accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. I now ask that You come into my life and live with me for all of eternity. Romans 10-9: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Father, Jesus - I now believe that I am truly saved and born again. Remember, Once saved always saved is a lie, Salvation is something you work at daily! Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. ask for it. and then wait for God to answer according to His sovereign will. He got you, love. just a little example: i started my first fast jan 2018 and i was praying for tongues. i became content with never receiving it, even though i still wanted to. after acting on a prophetic God gave to me ( another gift i have ), the lady praying about the word He gave me said, “ God wants to give you the gifts of tongues” i left church that day with that gift. that was feb 2020. just over 2 years after asking Him for this gift, He gave it to me. be patient love.

Sav and the family- Derrick has a great sermon on speaking in tongues and that should get it flowing. A lot of people compare their sound to others. Speaking in tongues is personal and unique to you.

I speak in tongues, but how do you know when God is using you to interpret or that he is saying something? What am I suppose to hear or feel? I have heard God speak to me a couple of time ... I had no doubt... I just knew and didn't ask who He was. What He told came to pass just as he had warned me. But, unsure what I'm suppose to be looking for listening for?

You can't learn the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You can only receive them, that is why it is called gifts. If you don't have a gift, you can't use it. This teaching is very misleading.

I am also a Charismatic. But how do these people have heard from God. Or another spirit? There is no way of knowing. I can surely tell you by experience. Many of these follow a voice. Which sounds like God. But isn't. Those that received nothing. Should be glad they didn't. It is better to not hear God. Than to hear a voice which is not him. Follow it and be deceived.

You will know which voice is God's voice if you soak completely in the Word of God. The voice that is aligned with the Word of God is God's voice,if it contradicts it is through the devil and if it out of flesh its the voice from your own mind. So its better to meditate on His Word and to know how He speaks instead of not hearing Him at all. God bless you.

It’s better to not hear from God?? You’re actually already listening to another spirit. If you Abide in Him you don’t have to fear. Ask God to deliver you.

If you don't know this you have not studied your bible

although he did a good job on the gifts of the spirit, he never understood the plan of salvation. sad case of an incomplete false prophet.
