it's incredible how everything went right in this show. paul did well the note that he always miss, the band was perfectly synchronized and the crowd was just awesome. probably the best live performance of pda

This song's outro paired with the ridiculous sound quality and Paul's cheeky smile gave me such intense goosebumps. Interpol Forever!!

I love the way Paul sits during the outro. Seem like soothed and in peace with the song. Great outro and one of the greatest debut album. A good lesson in rythm

All know that Carlos didnt like to play bass but this performance is perfect example how he balances everthing out with his calm class act . True professional.

His bass really defined the raw sound of Interpol. They lost a great deal of their quality when he left. He will be missed!

Bassline on this is so much fun to play as a bassist, especially with a whole band...

It's been said about countless bands, but Interpol might really be the most underrated of them all. They are legitimately great. The final two minutes of this tune defines the type of band they are, and everyone should know of them.

I would have given anything to have been able to see them live during this time still with Carlos D. They did stop in my hometown of Mexico City that year but I was a teenager and I was broke.

oh wow yeah they toured Mexico a lot if I recall correctly. im lucky enough to say I never saw them without Carlos and still they're the band I've seen live more than any other. well actually they are tied for number one but I've seen them five times.

The outro to this song has given me goosebumps every time I've ever heard it.

I've watched this video plenty over the years, but it's June 2019 and I've just noticed how little screen time Carlos got in it. He was pretty much their entire stage show back then.

I feel like I could comment on every Interpol video on KZread about how much I love Interpol. All I will say is this was an incredible performance. Such an enormous sound.

It's really effective how he just rambles on the bass the way he does through the outro. Like he's finding the right spot to be for when the drums kick in and then right before they do he hits those two or three notes. Incredible sound.

This driving,continuous tempo exists in all my favorite Interpol songs. Similar to Roland and Slow Hands.

This will go down as their best performance of PDA.

They played this when I saw them in Albany as their encore, probably around 2007. It was a weird long summer and this was perfect closure. I can die happy having seen this in person.

No other kit played by Sam sounds as good as his Yamaha. I’ve never heard such an awesome sound from any of his present day C&C kits or Ludwig.

If only they could have made the rest of the song as good as that outro...or stretched it out somehow. Or maybe the rest just makes the outro so much rewarding when it does come...but then again, I don't think I've listened to the whole song in years, yet I have listened to the outro hundreds of times. I stand by my initial sentiments
