It's mainly prediction through chord progression, as there are many standard rules that arent usually deviated from. Such as the obsession with pairs. I dont have much musical theory knowledge, so this is how I can show it. | - - - I - - - I - - - I - - - | - - - I - - - I - - - I - - - | is two measures, and on every even beat drums usually give it a kick, and every two or four measures a song will change how it sounds. With drops only being on the first of every odd measure usually with either a one/half beat pause or ramping sound. Songs also usually have two choruses that are similar in progression, with a slight tonal(idk if thats the right word?) or instrumental change. So predicting how a song would go is not that hard. HOWEVER, hitting that prediction perfectly is way more difficult.

This is probably gonna be my favorite way to listen to this song now! The way the drums sound in the chorus (I think it's the chorus? The part from 1:50 to 2:12 and 2:55 to 3:19) is amazing, it makes the song sound even better! And although I'm kinda sensitive to sound, the drums actually drown out the screaming enough to where I can listen on repeat! Plus the wario scream just ties the whole thing together.
