In this video tutorial, we have discussed three kinds of networks, i.e. Internet, Intranet and Extranet. The Internet is a global network, while Intranet and Extranet are derived from the Internet. An intranet is a private network derived from the Internet and is used by companies or organizations for their internal communication within the organization only.
However, an extranet is a private network that an organization/company or enterprise shares with a third party, such as suppliers, vendors, partners, and customers.
