I want to bless whoever gave Liam the ability to be an amazing writer and musician because this alone gives us such a tone and I love it. An eerie guitar starts us off, leading us into this sombre, "emo" beat. Full of life, yet something about it hides something from us, and until the last moments when the realization hits us- it's too late, and it already has us in its claws and maw. I love it! I'm so happy Cliffside found me and helped me find Liam's works because I don't know what I'd do without his interesting works and brilliant music. (Keep inspiring us, Liam. Thanks.)

No not quite but it's a little something like that

Somebody mentioned on IC-0n's theme that this song is sort of a calmer version of IC0n's theme, but while that may be true (with all the slyness that's been implied on Kirie's part), I think this theme is more frantic, showing how broken Kirie's mental state is, as opposed to IC-0n, who obviously has no moral qualms when it comes to assimilating. Kirie doesn't seem to mind wielding her cube powers at even classmates, but I think (This is completely my headcanon, as there's still no part 4) that she pays for it, as the "Cube Kirie", if you will, is separated, consciousness-wise, from the little girl that still is Kirie. She's less human now, for sure, but mentally speaking she's now just a disassociated child that's learned to avoid feelings as a response to extreme trauma. When it's go time the "Cube Kirie" will manifest, but otherwise Kirie is literally just a kid that went through the most extreme trauma possible, and probably didn't even fully process the events that happened when she was cubed. Either that or the vending machine message was exactly what happened and now Kirie is just a cube that wants to kill IC-0n.

I like it how you can hear the melody of IC-0n's theme, which tells us about Kirie's connection with cubes.

It has the SCP vibe, something eldritch being kept by the humans in an attempt to save our kind

I find those short animations that accompany the songs ... idk ... mesmerizing...

I always love the music you use. Keep it up! I'd love to see this turn into a full series.

1:05 hell yeah. I love it when songs use the same melodies at curtain parts of songs. It almost is always a good way to make songs stick together in their own way.
